  • As a huge fan of more genre-bending orchestral music myself, this track was a real joy to work on. Shaping the orchestra's relationship to the more electronic synths throughout the track was a challenge that I feel paid off in a really lovely way! This is the kind of music that inspired me in the first place to start composing myself, and I love the idea that you can (hopefully!) hear some of my musical influences and favourite composers shine through.
In case you missed Dive! and Echolocation, I'm excited to say (yet again) that this is another track I worked on for Epidemic Sound! I'll be continuing to work with them going forward, which I'll be returning to a relatively consistent level of releasing music again. Over the past 12 months, I've completed 10 (!!) full new tracks working for them, so expect to see a lot more in the next few months! It took me about 8 years of my life part-time work to finish up Exhale, my last album, so I'm more excited than can really be put into words to have been provided an opportunity to compose so much of my own music.

I said it before with Dive!, but I really love the sound you've been cooking up with Epidemic Sound. I especially like the part at 1:25. That bass is subtle, but great.
