    Man, I goofed this challenge up hard lol. Oh well, it was still fun. It is fun to try it one's self before seeing the professional execute it. Very enlightening experience. Thanks Tim.

    I love it when you show how you handle such complex scenes! They're what we typically encounter, and so difficult to tackle.
    Since you wanted to soften the edges of the distant trees and the foreground water ripples, I'm curious why you blotted with a sponge after the fact rather than pre-wetting the paper selectively to get soft edges?

      Hi, I find a gentle dab with my spontex sponge (quite soft) does the job for me and it's a bot quicker. Good question!

    I so appreciate your sharing your process and especially your thinking and decisions, especially about how you plan how you'll handle all of the tricky aspects. When you do that first wash, is your support on an angle?

    • @TimWilmot
      @TimWilmot  28 дней назад

      Yes at an angle of 10-15 degrees. Never level.
