    Put some mink oil on the leather straps on those leggings and they look great.

    Hi What kind of sewing thread did they use on the raincoat? Cotton or synthetic? And how tall are you? I wanted to order a coat like this but i didn‘t know what size i should get. Regards

    👍 Nice review. I have purchased a few things from What Price Glory and have also been satisfied. I am ashamed to admit it, but I am not as much as a stickler for period correctness as you and Sarge so the plastic buttons are alright with me.

    I had the same problem with the gaiters, I sent Jerry my measurements and they are miles too big on me. I never got round to sending them back, but i will buy a new pair of the smaller ones at some point.

    The denim pants look like will smith or ed hardy jeans?😳

      @robertmunoz7543 the 1920s through 1940s saw a period of wide leg trousers that was somewhat recycled in the 1990s, but with a much lower waistline. The wide leg is about the only similarity, however.

    I’m thinking of getting a pair of WPG US M1918 straight leg trousers what US army tunic go with them the best

      @njrotc9669 that might be a better question for @sargevining since I'm not really as up on military gear.

    Is there a video where you talk more about the cabin you're filming from here?

    • @20thcenturyadventures
      @20thcenturyadventures  3 месяца назад

      @benjaminrobinson3394 not yet, though you aren't the first person to ask about it. It is currently a work in progress, so I haven't done a video on it yet. There are some inside scenes in the video "how to research your historical impression".

    WPG is great but in my experience their sizing is all over the place. They are very reasonable with their return policy though and their products are good quality and reasonably priced

    Hey guys do you still have the bags that sarge was trying to sell on his channel but we had to buy them from 20th century adventurers if you do I’d be interested in buying one thanks

      @1961MJS are you talking about his bedroll made from a wool blanket and a gum tarp? No, unfortunately I am out of the blankets and tarps. Trying to source some more, but the shipping on the gum tarps is a killer.
