50th CONTENDER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS hosted by Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on the glorious waters of Perth's Swan River. A strong south westerly breeze turned it on and sailors fought hard in the conditions. Coverage today was interrupted as the media rib was required for safety duties following the bottom mark carnage. All sailors safely delivered to shore, all boats safe to fight another day.
