I Entered Myanmar from Mizoram & Spent a Day without Visa & Passport | Rih Dil Lake | Border 🇮🇳

- Today we entered Myanmar from a placed called Zokhawthar in Mizoram. Upon reaching Zokhawthar, you can easily cross the gate between India and Myanmar and spend a day in Myanmar without a passport and visa. I have experienced many tourist places in Mizoram so far but this crossing Indo-Myanmar border and getting to spend a day in Myanmar was one of my fav things to do.
Zokhawthar is a border town in the Champhai district of Mizoram state of India. There is one Zokhawthar in India and another in Myanmar. The two are divided by a gate. Upon entering Zokawthar, we took a bike and headed to Ril Dil Lake - one of the key tourist attractions of Mizoram/Myanmar. Rih Dil is a natural lake located in northwestern Chin State in Myanmar. It lies at about 3 km from Zokhawthar, the nearest village situated at an Indo-Burma border. It has a heart-shaped outline.

We Mizos(Zo tribes) migrated from Yunan Province of China, our ancestors stayed in Myammar Kalay-Kabaw region for 300-400 years . Later in the early 18th century , we migrated further down to the then Lushai Hills(now Mizoram) .
At present, We are divided and scatrered in Myanmar, India and Bangladesh. Inside India we live mainly in Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya
No real proof of that.....its just base on their study they believe we are migrating from china...no one know what is happening during that time
Thank you for sharing ❤️
Great information
its 1600 when the Zo cross Triau river..before that some zo tribe who are now in tripura and bangladeh cross it
This probably will be true.Because when a DNA test is done in mizo people, around 60% of our DNA is always Chinese blood!.About 35% Vietnamese
We are not migrated from Myanmar 🇲🇲 but our land is divided in the heartland by the British
@@mck87prove that.? North East was'nt India lately.. Its just that Mizoram join the Indian govt after the British colonialism of India ended by signing an MOU..
it flls in indian sub continent geographiclly@@BaBunghai-ex9qz
North east was not part of India.
how ?
It's geography fall in indian subcontinent @@nteihwang6451
all of them were under British india@@BaBunghai-ex9qz
The biggest lake in Mizoram is Rihdil lake but it is in Burma. This saying is due to mizo land divided into Burma side and India side when the British left India and divided the country, even some of mizo land was now under Bangladesh
Thanks for sharing
Many thanks to the people of Mizoram for your kindness and help to the Chin people in this difficult time in Myanmar.
You are always welcome! And this is the last thing creating problems. 🤍
@@sawmisailo5673 You are very kind ♥️ ❤️
You are one of us.. We are brothers.. This is our duty Bro
We are one in Zo
My mother and father are from Mizoram and we live in Mizoram for about 40+yrs now and we used to visit myanmar alot ty for showing us the ways which bring back memories.
I have lived close to 4 years there. Beautiful people / country. Loved my stay.
Indeed a beautiful place 😊
Just as mizos were divided into many parts by colonial power nagas were also divided the same way by the british. In india nagas are found mainly in nagaland and many nagas are also found in manipur, arunachal pradesh and in assam and across the artificial boundry in myanmar many nagas are also found consisting of more that ten tribes.
I'm from Myanmar, i see your vlog ❤❤😊 video karne ke liye tumhara shukriya
'The Biggest lake in Mizoram is Rihdil but located in Burma ' this sentence is the weirdest words that we learnt in schools 😢
I laughed after reading the second half of your sentence. You are funny :)
Fact!! 😂
It's not weird if you understand that Mizoram or Mizoland is not just the Indian state of Mizoram but rather all the lands inhabited by the Zo people. 👍
Thafs bc mizo are brothen tribe of Chin from myanmar. We have similarities our language are very close too easy to learn
@@DesiGirlTraveller mam that's fact..the reason is.. we are same blood with Chin(Myanmar) people..
No, incorrect statement. Mizo never migrated from Myanmar (Burma). The boundary was demarcated by the British between two countries, hence one half left over Burma and other on Indian side. Like Punjab, one half over West Pakistan and other in India.
Giving incorrect information and narratives can trigger discomfort and disarray to the major Indian viewers, thinking mizo people migrated into India, currently happening in Manipur. There are khasi and Pnars(Jaintia) people living in Bangladesh, Nagas, Arunachals, Manipuri/ Kuki in Myanmar.
I totally understand your point and at any point, I do not wish to harm anyone’s sentiments. I was guided by a local in Mizoram and all these insights have been given by her as there is little to no information available on the internet. Appreciate you taking an effort to educate more and more people about Mizoram 🙏
Actually it's three to be exact you missed 'The Chittagong Hills tract' (Bangladesh)
Correct your statement in Arunachal Pradesh there is no Burmese people indeed they do have bangladeshi(chakma and hajong) refugee,,
@@DesiGirlTravelleru
It's okay
People have corrected
Don't be so harsh
She's doing her best
A constructive criticism is not hard to give
The British seperated us into different countries, and even here in India, into different states. Rih Dil is a lake that every soul has to pass through to reach 'pialral', according to Mizo folktales. But that lake is now in Myanmar because of the boundary that was created by the colonial power.
Thank you for sharing!
Indian always complain

So nice
Lovely trip,l am satisfied tro your journey to myanmer about the people in myanmer. It's good to see you. Sister .
You are brave and blessed girl
Mizo's not migrate from Myanmar, Mughal control most of central India and not the north east, but when the British occupied India they seperated most of the mizo land and discontinued Chief, what we called King like England that's why the Mizo's when British left India, Mizo's wanted to join India just like Sikkim, Rih Dil is also a Mizo name and language and controlled by the Mizo chief before British occupied India
Thank you for sharing! What I have shared in the vlog is also from my research and what i have learnt from the locals in Mizoram. Though, always happy about learning new things :)
Beautiful
@@DesiGirlTravellerCome to Tripura (TTADC) ❤
Tripura vlogs are coming after Mizoram :)
We at one point migrated through myanmar.. Our true origins might be vague now but its not necessary to deny human migration as its necessary for survival especially in the early ages of civilization.. Even the biggest empire in the northeast, the axoms migrated from thailand at one point and Assimilated with the local population to build the axom empire
Beautiful lake superb vlog Priyanka thanks 🙏👍

Mizos do not migrate from Myanmar. They are divided by the Britishers to Myanmar, Bangladesh and India. Indian part is again divided into states of Tripura, Assam and Manipur which all have a Mizo tribes and Mizo village in each states.
Note: Rih lake is also used to be a part of Mizoram before the British which have a long history to Mizos.
Thanks for the true information

Nice comment with good information along with nice video, you are my Queen
Nobody has show us the view of myanmar from mizoram without crossing there. Now u has shown us . How could they lived so freely within international boundery. 🙏
The reason is this area is actually occupied by ZO people before British empire, they divided us by international border.. But the blood relation is thicker.. We travel as if we are in one country.. Which actually is true in our soul.. Nobody could stop this relation
Rih Dil Lake is Mizo Famous Lake, its also a Shape of Love❤ too.
We love Burmese people..

Welcome to Mizoram, come again...where we've always been free...
Our forefathers came from faraway lands ..Seeking freedom - you just wouldn't understand.
We love our past - it's our fantasy.
We're free to choose our own education.
Praise be to God for making us truly free,
To do what we want and say as we please..
In the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Beacon for the world and this is how we behave.
Ty for your visit... Once again
Priyanka happy to see you in Myanmar.
