I'm North Carolina, but lived in Europe for 8 years and London, UK for 4 - English/British food is 100% better than what we were told. If you like Thanksgiving and your mom's soup/stew/potpies etc.. you'll like 50% of the food. The other half is just fresh ingredients like cheese, vegetables, quality grade meat but similar to Italy and France - Just mind blowing taste without it being greasy or over salted/msg induced! My skin and brain function was at its best in Europe - I'm currently looking at a visa for my husband and 2 year old. I want to get back to good food, 'free healthcare' and a better culture'. I can never unknow, what I now know and Europe is where I need to be!
