This kit uses a joint runner that is apparently shared between the HGUC GM Striker, Powered GM, GM Custom, and GM Cannon II. Fun fact: all of those mobile suits were developed from the Type C, with the exception of the GM Cannon II, which shared manufacturing lines with the GM Custom. I've built the GM Striker and the Powered GM, and the Striker remains one of my favorite high grades. I'm hoping to complete the set one of these days.
@@Payinku Burning was in the type C and was wounded and had some blood on him, but not on the mech from a brief skim of the episode. Though one counter point to my thought is the type C wasn't used in the training scene at the start where the red paint was used, just the powered GM and the Zakus.
Ok, got mine in today (thanks for the review that helped me decide on making my purchase) and ran the label of that decal on the back of the instructions (in the "markings" images) through an image translator and got "Expression of the hit of the bain bullet for exercise", so it does seem to actually be a exercise/training paint round hit.
Probably buying this for more hand options for the HG GM striker (both have the same hand designs and connectors for the cover) which comes with spare beam saber effects, it's a win/win

These are some of the best GMs, good luck getting them all!
Think that "blood splatter" is actually paint round splatter from the combat testing in 0083.
I could be misremembering the scene, but I swear someone bled out on a gm at the end of the gp02 theft

Yeah, seems strange they didn't include the hands with the striker considering it's a melee suit.
I'm happiest about getting this kit as a companion piece to the Zaku II F2, but this GM still holds its own.
What do you think of the Type-C?
Are you going to do a review on the zaku II F2?

@@Payinku oh thank you I must have missed it
the bazooka is from the older HGUC gundam mark ii right?
It comes on the same runner as the bullpup, the design is definitely inspired by the mk II, but it's not reusing the runner.
I feel like this should get a revive yo make it more anime accurate. The proportions of the HG differ from the anime. This one more wide.
I wouldn't mind a revive, though the og GM needs one more.
