Sorry for watching 2 years later... Lol, but what magnets did you use for your body, because I actually have a jeep to and I'm looking for magnets instead of using body pins
Hey that’s no problem I appreciate you checking it out. The magnets came with this body so I’m not really sure. But I have used other magnets rare earth magnets but sometimes they can be pretty tricky to work because they’re so strong. The magnets in this one are just regular magnets so they’re not as strong and they’re about a 1/2in. in diameter and maybe an 1/8th thick. Hope this helps. 😉👍🏻

I absolutely love this one and the yellow sport. I'm thinking of doing a sport myself. Just wondering if the hood opens or if there is any chance you could make it open. Cheers
Pieter Van Der Horst Oh boy.... that's a good question. This body is very thick and hard, but I'm sure with some work you probably could get the hood to open. Very nice. I'm building the same red Xtra-Speed body. I just got the body fit to the chassis. Can you tell me the type of rock sliders you are using? I like those and the looks.
Sagan Hill Thanks for checking it out 😄. Sure these are the Tough Armor steel sliders for the SCX10II pt# Z-S1764 I got mine from RC4WD.com. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻 Good luck on your build..
Thank you. I'm looking forward to getting it finished. I ordered those Shapeways parts too. I also like the scale of those better. I'm driving up to Mackinaw bridge in Mi. for "Jeep the Mac" in April with my 95 YJ and Id like to bring this build to play with by the campfire.
Hi, great video & great job on the truck. You really went all out. lol That's the fun of it though. I'm thinking about getting the Xtra Speed Trail Glider SCX10 CNC Machined Aluminum Fully Upgraded 1/10 Scale Crawler 313mm but looking at the underneath of your body it does not look like it would fit. The Spur gear sits really high. One would think the company that makes both the truck & body it would fit. I would also have to bye rock slide panels for there is no place to put ESC. What are your thoughts on body fitting? Thanks & take care.
Rc RockRacer 😃Hey, first thanks for watching and the sub 👍🏻 I appreciate it. Yeah i’ve seen that chassis and it looks pretty good. But I agree the spur gear and transmission are the old-style SCX10 and sit really high. With any custom build you’re going to have to do some modifications. But it would be nice if they made a body specifically for that chassis. You could make it fit but you would have to get out the Dremel, sometimes you just have to work it out as you go along. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. Thanks again for watching👍🏻👊🏻
steve brady thanks again for checking it out. I’m getting ready to start a new build another JK body, going to have some different stuff on the new one. Again thanks for watching😃👊🏻
You nailed it with this rig. I love and appreciate all the details you put into this build very scale and I’m sure it performs really well where did you find the magnets for mounting the body I want to try that instead of using body pins.
Souledout RC 👍🏻 Thanks again for watching. The magnet mounts come with the body, it has everything you need to mount it. Thanks for your nice comments. ✌🏻👊🏻
Kingston RC ,Just like thousands of other folks who have seen and followed you,l know the importance of projects like this. They are instamential in instilling a sense of drive and organizational skills people to excell in this country . Job very well done sir and thank you very much.
Hey Kingston, did you have issues with the magnetic mountain points not being aligned with the body posts and if so what did you do to align them? Mine are off by an 8th of an inch or so. I haven’t set them in place yet and was wondering what some possibilities might be
@@kingstonrc329 I am using the SSD shock mounts so that would make sense, I figured they would be the same as stock but after a decade in the hobby you think I would know better.
RCHobbySteve I'm not sure exactly, but it was the screw that came with the rear bumper set. I used the Axial poison spider rear bumper. I cut out the middle section of the swing out and mounted it to the back of the Jeep. Thanks for checking it out 👍🏻 Hope that helps.
Nice work sir! I’m planning on purchasing the version 2 of this body and it says on amazon that it comes unpainted even tho there’s a few colors to choose from initially like yellow white red etc when ordering. Did u choose red right away and came painted? or did u paint it red?
PMC05 Yeah... I ordered the red one. And it came in red. it’s actually red plastic. There’s no paint. This is the Xtra speed version 2 body. I ordered this one from RC Mart. Hope this helps, thanks for checking it out.😉👍🏻
Mehmet Yucel Hey... Thank you I appreciate that. In this I'm running the older Venom 2200 3s lipo. Its just the right size to fit in the shortened battery tray. Thanks for watching. 😉👍🏻
RIGO CORDOVA Thanks for your question. This body is the Xtra Speed version 2. Made especially for the SCX10II kit. Which has a different transmission set up. So there is no cutting necessary on this body and using the kit style SCX10II. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 😎👍🏻

LeRoy Vanek 😃 Thanks for checking it out. This Xtra Speed body is the version2 so it's made for the SCX10II kit not the RTR. There will be some modifications needed if mounted to the RTR. The grille comes with it, 🤷🏼♂️ but I'm sure you can get a standard one to work, a little modification maybe. Hope this helps. Thanks again for watching 😃👍🏻
I just got the v1 body in. didn't realize there was a v2. Do you think its worth purchasing the v2? I know the RTR trans will not fit. looking to put a diff trans in with 2 speed option. But not sure to go with the Axial 10.2 kit trans and add SSD 2 speed, or should I go with the xtra aluminum v8 engine and 2speed transmission, Trying to find which trans is the best combination for the body is real hard. Great videos btw, learned alot from your channel
LeRoy Vanek....Well If your gonna change the transmission. I would just work with the one you have. Everything needs some modding anyway so just have fun with it. I'm starting a new project to. Using the new XtraSpeed V8 front motor assembly. 😃 👍🏻
Great work you did there! Which body is that? I bought one from Injora, but my one hasn’t so much space in the footwell. Or did you modified inner space?
Marcus Hasse..... This is the XtraSpeed version2 body. For the SCX10II kit. Even with this body you still have to trim out the receiver box to make it fit. And trim down the skid plates a little. Hope this helps 😃 Thanks for checking it out. 👌🏻👍🏻
Kingston RC, thank you very much. I found the Xtra Speed body in eBay. I have planned a MST CFX-W for this body, so I’ll use my Injora Body and have to cut the legs of the diver figure. I also found your video about building up the body. I’ll follow you, because I like your style.
Kingston RC, never mind. I benefit from your videos. I have to watch the others to. It seems you are an AXIAL fan?! I’ve got also one SCX 10 2 and I’m happy with it. But the MST CFX-W exited me, because it’s a front motor chassis and it has portal axles like the TRX4.
Tylco Mespo Hey thanks for watching, and the sub. I appreciate it😃. The magnets come with the kit, but I measured them and there 5/8 in. In diameter. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻👊🏻
Lasith Liyanage Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it. The front bumper is from Team Raffee and the rear is the Axial Poison Spider bumper modded with out the spair tire carrier. 😃 👍🏻
HURT 1 😃 Hey.... Thanks for checking it out. The top is a separate piece. It's screwed on from underneath, and by the windshield. My newer yellow Jeep has the top off with the rollcage made for this kit on it. Hope this helps 👍🏻 Thanks again for watching 😃
Now i'm wondering about trimming the waterproof box for reciever (i will be definitely going through water with mine). Did you trimmed it because of the driver seat? And do you think the spot above the rear axle is ok for a new waterproof box?
Taurus84 Yeah, the driver seat is right there. But yes there is a good amount of room in the back. Should be no problem for a receiver box. 👍🏻 Thanks again for watching 😃
Oh and one more question (the last one - i promise :)) - i will probably buy the RTR version with JK body. It has a different transmission than this kit. Do you think it will be a big problem?
Comedy Rc Hey thanks for checking it out. It did not interfere with the transmission, this body is the V2, made for the Axial SCX10II kit version. If you have an Axial RTR then you will need to trim a little of the interior. Hope this helps, thanks again for watching 😃👍🏻
chat10 Yeah... the magnetic body mounts come with this body. This is the XtraSpeed JK V2 body. I think at RCmart.com they sell just the mounts also. Hope this helps 👌🏻 Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
Hello. İ bought same body and i am try to use it witth scx10. İ put the magnets in scx10 bodu post. But they are not match with magnets on the body. Do you have any idea about that?
Rc İnceleme Thanks for watching, it’s hard to tell without seeing it. If you are wheelbase is too long or short they won’t match up. You may have to move your shock towers to get it to line up. The version 2 body is set up better for the SCX 10.2 chassis also make sure there’s no interference hitting the transmission or anything. Hope this helps, thanks again for checking it out. ✌🏻👊🏻

If you've seen my new XJ build I cut the hood off that body, but it wasn't easy. Ya no in this hobby anything is possible you just have to try. Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it.👍🏻
Hello friend, very good project. Beautiful scale with many details
I would like to know which led bar is used and the driver figure where I can buy
greetings
jackson da silva Hello, Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate it 😃 The light bar is the KC highlights 6in. bar from RC4WD.com. And the driver I got from Amazon.com just search 7in. action figures, there’s many to choose from. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻👊🏻
sharp,very sharp,great rig
steve brady 😃 Thank you very much sir 👍🏻 and thanks for watching ✌🏻👊🏻
nice video how can I buy Action Figures
Gracias
Hey.... Thanks for checking it out. Here’s a link to him. NECA - Blade Runner 2049 - 7" scale action figure - series 1 Deckard www.amazon.com/dp/B074V84RV9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Cu.QEb5RFT0TC. Thanks again for watching. 😎👍🏻
Sagan Hill Man that sounds like a great time. Thanks again for watching my videos. Much appreciated 👍🏻
Ottimo lavoro amico 😊👍🏽
ShArK795 Thank you very much. 😁👍🏻
Thanks again for watching👍🏻👊🏻
the "angry bird" grill really set it off
steve brady thanks again for checking it out.
Kingston RC ok thanks for the feedback
Kingston RC ,Just like thousands of other folks who have seen and followed you,l know the importance of projects like this. They are instamential in instilling a sense of drive and organizational skills people to excell in this country . Job very well done sir and thank you very much.
super work I like the body where I can buy it
Cesaraguirre79 Thank you very much. This is the Xtra Speed V2 JK body from RCmart.com. Thanks for checking it out. 😎👍🏻
Kingston RC Thank you so much for your time in answer my question
Hey Kingston, did you have issues with the magnetic mountain points not being aligned with the body posts and if so what did you do to align them? Mine are off by an 8th of an inch or so. I haven’t set them in place yet and was wondering what some possibilities might be
No... not really. Everything fell in to place. I use two different body’s also and both fit fine. Maybe your posts are different.
@@kingstonrc329 I am using the SSD shock mounts so that would make sense, I figured they would be the same as stock but after a decade in the hobby you think I would know better.
Awesome video man. I’m still tinkering with mine. Was wondering how long of a screw did you use to mount the rear tire
Great job, good video.
Where can I get this figure driver
jackson da silva Hey thanks for watching, just search Amazon for 7in action figures. There's a lot to choose from. Thanks again ✌🏻👊🏻
I watched the production video well.
I have one question.
I wonder what kind of products the front bumper and LoopLec have used.
Bong's Choi The bumper is from Team Raffee. Thanks again for watching. 😃👍🏻
@@kingstonrc329 Thank you very much ~
I found ioi
well done son well done!
shane hutchens 😂😂😂 lol. Thanks man I appreciate it 👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻
Hey cool video, do know if you can used the skull grill with that body
chat10 Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it. Yeah.. it may take a little fabrication, but I’m sure you could get it to work. 😃👍🏻
Can I get the links for the bumbers and accessories on the hardtop plz
WOW~~~ SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bong's Choi Thank you so much. 😃👍🏻
Hope this helps, thanks for checking it out.😉👍🏻
Kingston RC cool Tnx for this info! 👏🏽
perfect!!! What kind of battery are you using ?
Mehmet Yucel Hey... Thank you I appreciate that. In this I'm running the older Venom 2200 3s lipo. Its just the right size to fit in the shortened battery tray. Thanks for watching. 😉👍🏻
Kingston RC thank you for replying 😊
Rooftop, Searchlight, Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Winch, Product Name May I know your product code?
Jun87 Thanks for the interest in this build. If you follow the build series I go over all the parts I used. Thanks for watching. 😉👍🏻
Sir can you please tell me or show me which video shows were you had to cut to get the body fit please thanks sir
RIGO CORDOVA Thanks for your question. This body is the Xtra Speed version 2. Made especially for the SCX10II kit. Which has a different transmission set up. So there is no cutting necessary on this body and using the kit style SCX10II. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. 😎👍🏻
hi, what kind of roof rack do you have? Is there a link to buy it?
Сахалин 65 регион Thanks for checking it out. The roof rack is the stock Axial roof rack I just turned it backwards. Here’s a link to it. www.amainhobbies.com/axial-jcroffroad-roof-rack-axi31395/p510560?gclid=Cj0KCQjwoebsBRCHARIsAC3JP0Jc0dWBKbHeTv27VAcw_UZ7Q4haRTN-XxGR-HnHTNgAmKfWzryJBW8aAoRZEALw_wcB Thanks again for watching. 😉👌🏻

please list all the parts in the description... or try... i wanna do this
Andrew Storlie Oh I'd like to.. But there's so many. This is not just different parts. This is my one of a kind creation. Thanks so much for watching. 😎👍🏻
Bad ass jeep! Great job! Subbed back lol.
Barry Runion's RC channel Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate the comments. And thanks for the sub 👊🏻
Hey bud, where did you get the jeep emblems you have on the side, they look great.
Ricks Scale RC 😃 Thanks for checking it out. I got these from RC4WD. Just search emblems. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻👊🏻
Kingston RC ok cool thanks alot my friend. My jeep finally arrived so ill be getting started soon.thanks again.your jeep is really nice.
Hey what’s up just have a quick question I have the stock grey transmission. Do you think I should change the transmission to the black just want the hard body to line up properly thanks.....
GrassHopp3r - Yeah.... if you have the V2 body. It's made for the black transmission. The gray will work but you have to cut the body to get it to fit. Thanks for checking it out 👌🏻 I appreciate it. 👍🏻
Awesome build. What roof rack did you buy?
Lasith Liyanage Thank you so much, I appreciate that. This is the roof rack from the SCX10II kit version, here’s a link to one at Amainhobbies.com. www.amainhobbies.com/axial-jcroffroad-roof-rack-axi31395/p510560?gclid=Cj0KCQjwz93cBRCrARIsAEFbWsjjSE_sCf0SYavbW7TCqhIcMqxveO76IrcgD8NkeRH4Ixpt_c_eEY8aAt85EALw_wcB
Thanks for checking it out 😃👍🏻
I’m planning on doing something similar as my stock body is a bit tired now. I sure I will pick your brain again
Lasith Liyanage No problem 😃 glad I can help. 👍🏻
how was modifying that body to a SCX II? Also can you put a standard grill vs the angry eyes?
Waiting this body at this week)))
RC Scale studio Yeah...Thanks for checking it out, it's a great kit for sure. 😃👍🏻
Marcus Hasse.... Sounds good 👌🏻 Thanks for the support, I appreciate it. 😃👍🏻
Hi Kingston. What is the diameter of them magnets? Thanks!
Tylco Mespo Hey thanks for watching, and the sub. I appreciate it😃. The magnets come with the kit, but I measured them and there 5/8 in. In diameter. Thanks again for watching 👍🏻👊🏻
After my next project (a 2000 jeep cherokee xj) there is this rig
Discovering The World 😂😂😂 I'm starting an XJ build right now. 👌🏻 sounds good 👍🏻 Thanks for checking it out. I appreciate it. ✌🏻
@@kingstonrc329 cool! An hard body?
Discovering The World ⭐️ Oh yeah... love the Hardbodys. 👍🏻
Witch wheel base configuration Did you use : 11.4”, 12.0”, or 12.3”
John Wojcik With this body kit it uses the 12.3 wb. Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it.
She's a beauty:)
Rc Reality Thank you ;-) I appreciate it. Can't wait to get it out on the trail 👍🏻
What bumpers did you use? Trying to make some decisions lol
Lasith Liyanage Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it. The front bumper is from Team Raffee and the rear is the Axial Poison Spider bumper modded with out the spair tire carrier. 😃 👍🏻
Kingston RC awesome mate. Can’t get enough of your trail videos 😊
Hi what bumpers you running?
What are the tires and wheels sir
RIGO CORDOVA These are the YeahRacing 5 spoke gunmetal and black 1.9s with Pitbull Rock Beast XLs. Thanks for checking it out. 👍🏻
Nice!!
Stephen H. Thanks... I appreciate it. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Is the top able to be lifted off this body?
HURT 1 😃 Hey.... Thanks for checking it out. The top is a separate piece. It's screwed on from underneath, and by the windshield. My newer yellow Jeep has the top off with the rollcage made for this kit on it. Hope this helps 👍🏻 Thanks again for watching 😃
Kingston RC thank you for the response. You definitely put tons of work into this jeep.
👍👍👍🔥
Fantastic build and really inspiring!
Taurus84 Thank you so much 😊 I appreciate it. And thanks for watching 👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks for the info.
Oh and one more question (the last one - i promise :)) - i will probably buy the RTR version with JK body. It has a different transmission than this kit. Do you think it will be a big problem?
Did you shoe goo the magnets on to the body?
Lasith Liyanage 😃 Yep... good ole Shoe Goo. 👌🏻👍🏻
Kingston RC thanks again. Do you have a pic of the underside?
Lasith Liyanage no I don't sorry.
All good. Thanks for the tips anyways
Did the interior interfere with the transmission
Comedy Rc Hey thanks for checking it out. It did not interfere with the transmission, this body is the V2, made for the Axial SCX10II kit version. If you have an Axial RTR then you will need to trim a little of the interior. Hope this helps, thanks again for watching 😃👍🏻
Do you have a part number for the body mount or name
chat10 Yeah... the magnetic body mounts come with this body.
Rc İnceleme I'm at work right now, but I'll measure it when I get home. And get back to you. 👍🏻
Rc İnceleme Hey I measured between the shock towers and it is 2 3/4 inches from center of hole to center of hole. Hope this helps.
Kingston RC i think its equal to 7cm. Thank you. :)
where did you get the roof rack sir?
Michael Ramos Thanks for watching 👍🏻 This is the JCR offroad roof rack from Axial #ax31395 hope this helps. 😃👍🏻
Kingston RC.....Hey, l cant say enough about your RUclips videos. Fantastic. Overwhelming. The detail you exhibit is just super. Please keep it up as long as you can. Thank you very much.
Bill Malanca Thank you sir, I appreciate that. 😃 thanks for watching 👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks its out of stock in rcmart at the moment...really love your set up
Hi what size wheels are they thanks
Foundation491 😃 Thanks for checking it out. These are the YeahRacing 1.9 gunmetal and black beadlocks with Pitbull RockBeast XLs. Thanks for watching 👌🏻👍🏻
No problem it’s a great build I’m currently fitting the same body to a trx4 and it sure is taking some modifications lol 😂 had to remove the esc and receiver box and cut away some of the floor panels
Do the Rock Beast XL’s rub at all when your on the trail and suspension is a full articulation?
Daniel Curtis Thanks for watching, I appreciate it. No rub but very close. 👌🏻👍🏻
