Jaroslav Zouhar it’s obviously not fake It’s higher than a tenor can play but an alto is naturally a higher instrument. My tenor range is nearly 6 octaves so that notes believable
I'll have to say this is not Jazz. There is Jazz feel and elements, but it is not Jazz. These players do not sound like commercial players at all either. They sound a lot like when professional Symphony members play jazzy arrangements. Also @TheCunningSnail that's exactly what I thought. It does sound like Mario Kart.
This may be all kinds of late, but for other people at least this might help. The song is an adaptation of "Great Come and Get It Day" from the movie Finian's Rainbow.
InTACTProduction in his defense, he was playing some rather challenging and musically unique stuff. It's easy to get too caught up with the notes if your playing on an unfamiliar scale, especially if all the notes are the same length, and the drumming is really light and not playing an easy beat to follow. It was more of the drummer's fault for not playing loud enough, which is more likely the composer's fault. When the bassist looks at the drummer, it means the drummer needs to be louder. The bassist was also very exposed, so all his mistakes where noticeable. Put a tuba in there and lower the volume a tiny bit and you wouldn't even notice.
As a bass trombone player I will tell you that the lower register sounds ring longer and are supposed to be the last sound you hear if there is not tuba or bari sax.
I can't believe you just said that to kovaxtromb.. you should watch his videos. I'm pretty sure he knows what jazz is more than you do. There's no improvisation at all and no feel to it. The guy's an amazing player, but this isn't really jazz.
This is amazing, but i can't get over about how they all look like they work at the movie theater from Drake and Josh.
Amazing performance.
Man, what a great sound! That short little bass trombone solo thing was pretty nice too.
Been coming back to this video for 12 years. Still makes me want to start up alto trombone.
WOW! I really think that's the first time I've heard an alto bone swing like that. The man cooks.
I like that alto trombone.
Excellent!!!
Thank you my friend :-)
Great bone sound, great band sound and great arrangement.
Zdravím, ano, pan Jaroslav Dřevikovský byl vynikající a nedoceněný český aranžér.
Such a clean sound
These guys guys are great.
Man, this is REALLY nice!
No konečně jsem toho Jarouška po více jak deseti letech našel. ;-)
Nice. I've been thinking about switching to an Alto Trombone from Mellophone
is there a way i could get music for this. this is an amazing solo, especially cuz its on alto trombone.
This was really fun and excellently played. Now I gotta go practice my alto bone.
Good,very good👌🎺🎷🎸
Love these guys.
Super piosenka,
gratulacje dla Zouhara
Love it. brilliant
Great Work Guys...
I love!
Great!
wow!
Where do these dislikes come from? If you don't this kind of music, don't click on the video. I loved this.
I wish more professional music was like this, I like a good simple tune, not a complex boring one.
It is a "folk-music" band - therefore it sound not "so jazzy" - but still sounds great. Dan
Kinda reminds me of Mario Kart DS lol
Come for the trom. Stay for the bass
I need sheet music for this :o
There are 2 alto trombone sizes: F & Eb.
bestest ever btw i play trombone
Why do you think the last note is fake? I really played it naturally the high e flat.
Love the old grannies in the audience!

@@upsidedownpyramid7617 Bruh My highest range is Eb6 but it's sounds like it's screaming at that lmao
Maybe it will open a trend and alto trombone popularity will be like alto sax...
Why am I *just now* hearing about this?
That is not nearly enough applause.
Hello Matthew
Could anyone tell me what piece he is playing?
What about a Pbone mini?
ทรอมโบนเป็นเครื่องดนตรีที่มหัศจรรย์มากมีเสน่ห์ แต่คนเล่นน้อยมากสมควรได้รับการสนับสนุนอย่างจริงจัง
Should hav been a bigger crowed cus the was some gooood music
nice cheezy ass solo
Jaroslav 1976 Lost in Trumpets ?
Dear Mr. Zouhar! Fantastic! Wich instrument brand do you play? Thank you, youre a real inspiration for alto players!!
Hi Ricardo, Thank you for nice words. I recorded this piece on Yamaha alto trombone.
@@jaroslavzouhar3461 yes! Is mine Instrument too. Thank you for your answer. And music!
what is the tittle of the peace
Is there sheet music for this? I'd like to learn it pls. Just for fun?

@@jaroslavzouhar3461 mysticaldan101@gmail.com
@countchokula1 No, you wont need an alto any time soon!
Paul McGann on the bass?
idk but he starts speeding up real bad about halfway through the song
can't any one tell the tittle of the piece
Hi, the name of the piece is Great Come and Get It Day. You can listen for example ruclips.net/video/0Jb8ygi3GeY/видео.html
what song?
Is that an f or Eb alto?
Tough audience! Geez!
@kovaxtromb if you don't think this is jazz then you need to get your ears checked. Last time I checked classical trombone doesn't swing.

Bass player is so off rhythmically
ikr lol

Not live.
pity the last note is fake
its not fake. its an alto trombone. Its even easy to hit that on tenor trombone so its way easier on alto
+InTACTProduction
lol that is NOT easy to hit on tenor
Yes it is
Garen Crownguard ok, its not impossible, how about that. its easy for me lol
InTACTProduction I've been playing for 6 years and I can barely hit high f on tenor how do you people do this stuff
Worst "jazz" solo ever
can someone tell me the name of this piece?
