In the behind that was released today hongjoong said "there is a lot of categorization on basis of people's colour so we should touch on that topic" That's why hongjoong and minhyuks rap is more based of the colour of the skin. (hongjoong has previously touched on this topic in his black or white cover, where he says why does it matter what colour we have just mix it. he is really so inspiring) While chan said that "they all come from different teams, have different styles, different personalities yet they have 1 goal is to spread music" and thats what we can see from what 3racha incorporated in their rap. Hongjoong also thought of the idea about wearing all white and splashing colour on each other. This song might not have 1 single definition or meaning but i'm sure it reached the hearts of many in whichever form it did. I'm really proud of all of them !
Actually at first changbin suggest the theme playing with paint/colour. Changbin suggest the story of they are making music like painting to deliver their thoughts. Then hong joong thought of talking about skin colour because the theme is 'color'. People criticising mayfly(team A) for using too many props but those props gives meaningful message to their performance. Like the painting of a rainbow. A painting of themselves in different colour cuz they want to convey a message that your nationality, skin colour, gender identity, doesn't stop you from expressing yourself. Their performance talks about "equality", "self love", and "stopping racism". So you can't judge them for using too many "props", they are just being creative. They want to be a voice, inspire other people, and to spread meaningful message thro rapping and performing. THAT'S THE INFLUENTIAL/INSPIRATIONAL RAPPERS WE STAN! (not mine)

Mayfly won! They got 23 out of 33 votes. This track was made by bangchan, hook made by changbin and minhyuk, all 5 of them wrote each of their verses. The song is very meaningful and their performance was so good! Stage presence and team chemistry were on point. The mayfly dance and vocal units also have great chemistry and teamwork.

The next bar ~cause we do it all for you~ So Chan used the analogy od letter U and word YOU to say that thay spell coloUr because they mixed it for us, and thats why they use U(YOU - meaning they include us fans). When he starts he says "mayfly, Saegjil decalcomanie nunimgwa daeching" which basically translates to decalcomanie, symmetry with the sisters. He was referring to Mamamoo (they have a great song called Decalcomani) and Mamamoo had also won Queendom. So he was mentioning how he will have a symmetry with them, i.e winning here. His mind is really on a whole another level

Daebak!!" in a banner, girl forgot to bring her lightstick, most of those rookies as well didn't even evaluate the rap itself as they mostly wrote "the props were amazing and the dance steps were cool" come on, there's literally a dance unit where u can evaluate their dance steps and here u r evaluating the dance steps for the rap unit smh. Those rookies just attended a free SKZ concert so I wouldn't call these so called expert special judges a credible result, there's only the CEO of Brand New Music there as the only one who is directly in the hip-hop community, and also Brand New is Mnet's dog(u can just look at the controversy in SMTM4 that includes MINO, Black Nut, San E etc.) So I wouldn't even trust anyone from Brand New esp in an Mnet show. MNET was not only disrespectful to these established groups but to their respective fandoms-there will always be a ? mark after those "wins" from these segments when these "special evaluators" were the only ones to judge and there was no fan voting. For me I can't validate the ratings but I surely can enjoy the great performances put in by these groups and combinations of those groups that show the differences within the genres and flavors of kpop.

You could see during the deliberations that Wooyoung looked extra stressed, and I think they picked SKZ because Wooyoung was already friends with Changbin, so they knew they’d make a good match personality wise. I think they picked BTOB because of their fun/silly but professional demeanor. That really matches the other two groups well.
Both groups were great but I applaud Mayfly for sticking to such a hot issue right now. I watched the behind the scenes and 5RACHA should be a thing. They had so much fun and chemistry as a unit it was so amazing watching them work together. Cube,KQ and JYP should make 5RACHA happen!

MNET was not only disrespectful to these established groups but to their respective fandoms-there will always be a ? mark after those "wins" from these segments when these "special evaluators" were the only ones to judge and there was no fan voting. It would have been better if they would have cut back on the number of "rookies" to avoid controversy but then again it is MNET. For me I can't validate the ratings but I surely can enjoy the great performances put in by these groups and combinations of those groups that show the differences within the genres and flavors of kpop.
This was a really meaningful stage, I loved it, and if I know correctly it was Hongjoong who brought up the idea to touch this subject. I respected him so much already, but he managed to go beyond that, he's such a kind human being! Respect!

We bleed the same color literally they meant about "mayfly, we are one" because they had to do unit songs as a mission in kingdom and the whole idea of mixing colors like they mix each of their color to this and play with it and we bleed the same color.
and even it says color of they're wearing "white" like white light can divided to rainbow colors rays in through a prism, in reverse rainbow colors rays make the white light) like they mix their colors bleed the same.
