Now I can see the emphasis seems to be European and not even Luxembourgian health insurance, how do I go about this since am not in Europe or Luxembourg but primarily the last phrase in the write up is my main huddle or issue, which is …“, or a health insurance indicating an expiry date” Does that mean any insurance indicating an expiry date, that is any insurance with an expiry date is acceptable, because there’s a health insurance policy for people traveling , which you pay for in Nigeria that covers health and is cheap, so I don’t know if this counts? Applicants have to show proof of language skills; in the case of English-taught programmes, if you have graduated from English-taught programmes within the last 2 years, you do not need to show any more proof; otherwise, you need to have proof of English language proficiency, such as IELTS and another certificate acceptable by the university. It is unclear if admitted bachelor's and master's degree students can do that during their visa application (I don't have the full facts now); from what I read from the appropriate website, researchers or university employees might apply for their dependents simultaneously with their own application. Nevertheless, I wonder if that applies to other students. In my view, if you are travelling for your masters, I don't see the need for urgency in also trying to go with all your family members at the same time, after your primary objective is to travel to study and for the relocation of your family, so it makes more sense to me that you travel first for your study then after some time you plan for your family based on what the law says. Applying for admission and applying for a visa are two different processes. When you are applying for your temporary authorisation to stay, all your documents have to be originals or certified ( authenticated and super-legalised) true copies. If you are applying for master's degree programmes at the University of Luxembourg, you don't need to authenticate your documents during the online application; however, after you have secured admission, you must register your degree certificate with the Ministry of Education Luxembourg ( Check my channel for more on thIs). I have a question pls, during my application, the first stage was to fill out my personal details. I got confused in the section of (Secondary Education) as follows, title of degree,rank,and grade scale, my question is does SSCE have grade scale,ranking and title of degree. Hi, WASSCE has ranking system, whether you have A1 or B3 etc. , there are percentage of mark that determines what grade, if you check the back of your WASSCE certificate you may find valuable information . If you take sometime and check WAEC website you may also find valuable information there. The ECTS [The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System is a standard means for comparing academic credits], If you check your transcripts you will see how your university graded your degrees and the ranking order they used. You cannot study at any university globally as an international student's without showing evidence of proof of funds during your visa application except you are under full scholarship and even at that you have to show evidence of that scholarship details which is also technically proof of funds. You should explain in specific and simple terms why you chose the programme while emphasising why your previous educational and professional experiences adequately equipped you for this programme. I did my second masters in Integrated Systems Biology, and they only accepted 16 that year. They will take only 18 applicants this year, so it s highly competitive. Unfortunately, meeting the essential requirement may not be enough. So this is why motivational statement and other skills acquired is highly crucial. If you are applying for three courses, it is only logical to modify your motivation statement to align with the various courses. You may start your motivation letter with your first choice and change it to fit the other two courses. To apply for a bachelor's degree at the University of Luxembourg and in Luxembourg, you must first apply for the recognition of your high school certificate to the Luxembourg Ministry of Education. Now, one of the conditions for that recognition is that you MUST have evidence of either a French, German or Luxembourgish language certificate; otherwise, your application for recognition will not be processed, and consequently, you will not be able to secure an admission at the University of Luxembourg for Bachelors degree programme. Unfortunately, this is a mandatory requirement, and there is no way around it. My advice will always be to choose the course that is related to what you studied because the university is particular about it. First, you need to read about the master's programme you intend to study and compare that with what you did in your first degree and make the determination. I dont know the context of what you studied, so you are in the best position to make that determination. Every applicant can apply for a maximum of 3 different programmes. It is upto you whether you want to apply for one or three programmes but bear in mind that the university of Luxembourg is highly competitive perhaps the more the programmes the better your chances of getting admission. Nevertheless , choosing three programmes is not a guarantee for admission because you must meet the requirements so ensure that you choose courses that have some correlation with your previous studies and write your motivation letter very well. If you want to apply for a bachelors degree programme at the university of Luxembourg, you must first apply for the recognition of your high school certificate if you obtained it outside Luxembourg. Does that mean any insurance indicating an expiry date, that is any insurance with an expiry date is acceptable, because there’s a health insurance policy for people traveling , which you pay for in Nigeria that covers health and is cheap, so I don’t know if this counts?

Nevertheless, I wonder if that applies to other students. In my view, if you are travelling for your masters, I don't see the need for urgency in also trying to go with all your family members at the same time, after your primary objective is to travel to study and for the relocation of your family, so it makes more sense to me that you travel first for your study then after some time you plan for your family based on what the law says. Applying for admission and applying for a visa are two different processes. When you are applying for your temporary authorisation to stay, all your documents have to be originals or certified ( authenticated and super-legalised) true copies. If you are applying for master's degree programmes at the University of Luxembourg, you don't need to authenticate your documents during the online application; however, after you have secured admission, you must register your degree certificate with the Ministry of Education Luxembourg ( Check my channel for more on thIs). I have a question pls, during my application, the first stage was to fill out my personal details.
I got confused in the section of (Secondary Education) as follows, title of degree,rank,and grade scale, my question is does SSCE have grade scale,ranking and title of degree.
Same thing goes to higher Education which is very my understanding and easy to fill,thus I had problems calculating my Ects which I approximated to be 279 Ects because I studied a 5 years bachelor degree.

Hi, WASSCE has ranking system, whether you have A1 or B3 etc. , there are percentage of mark that determines what grade, if you check the back of your WASSCE certificate you may find valuable information . If you take sometime and check WAEC website you may also find valuable information there. The ECTS [The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System is a standard means for comparing academic credits], If you check your transcripts you will see how your university graded your degrees and the ranking order they used. However, in summary, one of the main bottlenecks will be language because you MUST have adequate knowledge of both French and German Language to study Bachelor in Medicine at the University of Luxembourg; this is a mandatory requirement. Hi, it is not about how many pages but the quality of what you wrote and the contents of your CV. You should explain in specific and simple terms why you chose the programme while emphasising why your previous educational and professional experiences adequately equipped you for this programme. I did my second masters in Integrated Systems Biology, and they only accepted 16 that year. They will take only 18 applicants this year, so it s highly competitive. Unfortunately, meeting the essential requirement may not be enough. So this is why motivational statement and other skills acquired is highly crucial. If you are applying for three courses, it is only logical to modify your motivation statement to align with the various courses. You may start your motivation letter with your first choice and change it to fit the other two courses. To apply for a bachelor's degree at the University of Luxembourg and in Luxembourg, you must first apply for the recognition of your high school certificate to the Luxembourg Ministry of Education. Now, one of the conditions for that recognition is that you MUST have evidence of either a French, German or Luxembourgish language certificate; otherwise, your application for recognition will not be processed, and consequently, you will not be able to secure an admission at the University of Luxembourg for Bachelors degree programme. Unfortunately, this is a mandatory requirement, and there is no way around it. Every applicant can apply for a maximum of 3 different programmes. It is upto you whether you want to apply for one or three programmes but bear in mind that the university of Luxembourg is highly competitive perhaps the more the programmes the better your chances of getting admission. Nevertheless , choosing three programmes is not a guarantee for admission because you must meet the requirements so ensure that you choose courses that have some correlation with your previous studies and write your motivation letter very well. Also include other Extra skills, training and certification that are relevant to the programme you want to apply, prepare a robust CV using Europass format etc. All the best. Nuel .

(1.) From the research I made on this, the account has to be your own or a family member's ( the family member in this regard is your parents, as stated by the Immigration Directorate Luxembourg). Please search for my video on the proof of funds for Luxembourg visa application on my RUclips channel (Nuels Universe); I explained everything in detail with relevant links in that video. I also have several videos about studying, working and living in Luxembourg, so kindly check them out.
(2.) You are allowed to apply for three different programmes per applicant, but you need to pay the application fees separately if applicable. If you are applying for different programmes, it is only logical and reasonable that you modify the personal statement to suit the various programmes, so you may have to make some few modifications accordingly.

If you studied the English Language in your previous degree, then you need to show a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) certifying the completion of a programme in which the main language of instruction was the same as the teaching language(s) of the selected programme at the University of Luxembourg.

Where did you study? You first need to understand the admission requirements for the first degree. For example, the West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) is accepted in most European schools. From simple research, I found that many universities require a combination of Cambridge International AS and A Levels and Cambridge IGCSEs to meet their entry requirements.

If you want to apply for a bachelors degree programme at the university of Luxembourg, you must first apply for the recognition of your high school certificate if you obtained it outside Luxembourg.
