- Another serious video.. I know, I know.. hopefully my next can be more lighthearted. Anyway, Lucas and I taste test all the drinks, juices, beverages from our childhood and pit them against each other. Enjoy.... RIP bug juice... I miss you A LOT!

Childhood food is a difficult thing to revisit - most of them change their ingredients and ratios over time, and they end up tasting different than they did when we were kids. Like I tried Capri Sun and Koolaid Bursts recently after a very long time, and they tasted like diet drinks, they were literally inedible for me and i had to give the rest away. It's because of the companies being harassed by parents to make kids' stuff healthier.
I literally saw "capri sun zero" today and was stunned. 😅 still going to have to try it though

As a fellow Midwestern gworl hog wash is FANTASTIC and I want some now. I got bug juice mostly as a kid but every once in a while my parents would get hog wash instead

My least favorite was always Juicy Juice as a kid because it was healthier😂. I loved Caprisun more back in the days. It tasted way better. It was definitely the sugar they used back then. They also had Big Pouches briefly. Heavenly. 😂

I fully still drink nesquik and I’m 29. Same for sunny d but I do agree it tastes sus the more you drink.
My parents only occasionally bought juicy juice.....I asked for different things but my Mom said it's bad for you. We tried Capri sun for vacation but my brother just squeezed the juice everywhere. My grandma had the cool aid squeezes and sunny D but I wasn't used to sugar so it was not nice for me. I got Snapple sometimes too.
Please do all the different flavors of Capri Sun even as a 29 year old I still drink them lol!

Caprisun was the juice of my childhood. Something about going to the fridge after school grabbing one and trying to stick the straw without it spilling then squeezing it tight to get the last drop was such a moment.
I would drink the whole box in one day and my sibling would get so mad at me lol

Hi-C STORY TIME!: My 18 month old had a rare pneumonia that was rapidly killing off his left lung, and him. He had to take IV and oral antibiotics in adult doses and the liquid version smelled literally like gasoline and beef. The ONLY way to make it palatable for him to have it syringed down his throat was adding Hi-C concentrate. It was THIIICCCCKKKK and stained everything it touched. There were what looked like blood droplets on my ceiling from the months of syringe mishaps. But that sh*t saved his life. I mean, the antibiotics saved his life, but for this storytime it's Hi-C.
Bug juice was recalled because it apparently may have contained plastic or metal shavings

I loved yoohoo growing up😂😂. You had to shake it upside down to get the chocolate spreaded evenly.
You always share everything and it’s so funny, like heaven forbid you buy two and don’t share one 😂 but it would be wasteful if you didn’t finish them so it’s probably better. It’s just funny to me.
