The fact that people keep losing their packages to thieves shows the sad reality that this is not enough of a deterrent, but if you were to design something that could actually hurt someone.... you'd probably be the one in trouble, no matter how much the thief deserved it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the mini boxing gloves, though!
The problem with designing a box to hurt people is, for example, look at the pawn shop scenario. You're definitely risking hurting a person that has no involvement whatsoever in the theft.

unfortunately many of the predators got away after being arrested,. not the shows fault they were just collaborating to film a police investigation but at least they were publicly exposed.. The thieves are 99% of the time so casual about it during the reveal and afterwards... like, do they not realize it's a crime?

Out of all the glitter bombs, this was my favorite design.
In Europe nobody leaves your packages at your door. Ever. In Spain they have three attempts to deliver your package. If you're not home none of those delivery attempts they won't ever leave any package at your door, you'd have to contact the courier company to get it. But long before that you'd receive phone calls, emails and updates on your package. Also you can change the day and time you want your package delivered.
US seems to be living in the 18th century
We got hit with our first porch thieves this week. My mom was pretty upset and sad. It had never happened in 20 years living here and it was presents for our family that she had ordered. I put on the first vid of this series for her and it turned her mood around so much we ended up watching all 4 back to back. Just wanted to say thanks

In Brazil, we don't have porches because the amount of thieves here are immense.
They ring your doorbell, and if you don't answer, they will either have the item be taken back, or have it on a common post office location for collection. The item doesn't get stolen this way. Well, not without being taken from the delivery guy.

I’d really love to see a gallon of high pressure red dye pumped out of the device rather than glitter!
Although glitter is permanent and difficult to get out I feel permanent dye does a better job than glitter
