She is so right, dogs who came from nothing have soooo much to give. I take in senior special needs and they have so much love to give even if their time is short. I wish more people would open their homes to that kind of love❤
Honestly, I'd love to, but I'm afraid that I couldn't afford the care the dog may need towards the end of their life. 😢 Other than that, I'd happily take in a senior or special needs dog. ❤
@@piarademacher4024 I’m disabled on social security. You get pet insurance. That’s how you do it. Also not all need a ton of medical care. Some just need a safe place for their final years.

Thank you for letting her know security, joy and love before she left this realm. We have had 3 rescue dogs, all abused. It is so gratifying to watch them learn to trust and become carefree & joyous, for however long they have with you. They become almost puppy like, as if trying to reclaim what was taken from them. I wish more people would give them a chance. It requires more patience, kindness and a gentle spirit but what you get in return from them is indescribable. ❤❤❤

Abandoning pets is a unique cruelty not only because of them being treated like trash, but also in how they are dumped. That said, it's a good thing that she wasn't tied up. Even if left with food and water, a tied-up abandon is a death sentence as the animal cannot move to find more when that food and water runs out; additionally, shelter becomes an immediate issue if they were tied up in the open.
Also, they cannot flee if danger comes near. With her bad hips, Lola would not have lasted long in a fight. Thankfully, she wasn't tied, and wasn't there long enough to become a target of some other animal, especially the two-legged ones.🤬
Bless you & sweet Lola. Never underestimate how wonderful it is to rescue a dog or cat who has been abandoned. The love they give, regardless of how short your time together may be, is on a level that is indescribable.

I’m completely heartbroken that Lola’s life has deteriorated; but I’m so happy she had the best last months of her life with her loving mom and dad. May Lola rest in heavenly peace. ❤❤❤❤
You gave her the best time of her life before she left. I have had to have beloved pets put to sleep. I miss them but I never worry about them. I was buried alive by a bulldozer when I was 5 years old and never should have survived. That was over 60 years ago. I remember everything vividly including leaving my body and going from suffocating in terror, to being fully conscious but not needing to breathe. What I remember most vividly about being out of the body was feeling like I was surrounded by unconditional love and feeling safer than I have ever felt before (or since) while in the body. Only our bodies die. Our souls (both human and animal) carry on, and we will meet again. 🙏🏻

I had a Rott just like her, loved everyone and loved to run in big circles. He got the cancer and we had to let him go. I miss my monster every day.
