I'm going to sound really sappy right now but he means a lot to me! Been in the shotaro train since we got to learn more about sungtaro and never got off lol. Seeing them finding a new home in riize and how much theyre enjoying themselves there. Of course, i have many complaints about how center 5 manages them (especially shotaro) but i think riize is the best thing that could've happen to them. Shotaro redefined what an idol meant to me and being part of his journey since day one was an experience that was hard but the payoff is amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world...

They were literally thrown into the deep end and expected to swim laps whilst their whole entire lives were changed overnight, I applaud them so much for how well they are handling and thriving in nct and I hope we get many more opportunities to see them. Shotaro is such a hard worker. You see he’s been studying Korean well because he’s getting pretty fluent. He nonstop practices his dances as well. Shotaro is definitely up there as the best dancers of NCT along with Ten, Taeyong, and Jisung

In Japan he is very busy with dance competitions, substitute teacher, back dancer, and even competed in the World Of Dance Japan qualifier as a center. But after SM bothered him to debut in a short time out of the many male trainees that's they had, they chose to keep Shotaro's dance skills rather than showing it. Even with the few promotions that Shotaro got, he could attract the attention of many non-fans as well. At least let him post dance videos like on this relay cam (sorry for the bad grammar, I'm not fluent in English)
We miss Shotaro a lot. Apart from IG and the bubble update, we won't know the news about him at all. Even the content on the nct account after the resonance era, how much content did Shotaro get?
I dont know the group NCT but when I saw videos of Shotaro I decided to watch their videos. I only follow them bec. of Shotaro but there's fewer videos of him
Please remember, Shotaro isn't an "idol dancer", he was a professional dancer. So Shotaro brings an amazing history of dance and a different respect for dance other idols don't necessarily have. He's a fantastic addition and I can't wait for main dancer Shotaro in the new unit
Shotaro's stability, precision, sharpness, and carefully restrained power are unreal and I noticed right away that Sungchan wasn't nearly as comfortable with dancing as Shotaro was but Sungchan's execution of the moves still kinda fit 90s love well. He certainly doesn't have Shotaro's OP technical skill but he's still a solid dancer and the way he moves and his wide frame and long limbs assist a lot in creating a swaggy, easy-going style that's quite distinct to other dancers with similar attributes like Jisung (effortless and minimal but still oh so captivatingly clean), Lucas (I think his style is more about appearing wild and charismatic? kinda the inverse of Jisung), and Johnny (idk how to describe his dancing except that he follows the fundamentals really well and he can really own a stage nowadays).
Johnny for sure is thriving with grooves, that’s why choosing him to be in Work It sub unit is a brilliant choice. Jisung definitely embodies the fundamentals of popping: relaxed but detailed, spot on with isolations. Lucas is basically a wilder version of Jaehyun: thriving in sharp angular dance moves, and very much strength-focused, sometimes he would tense up his upper body more than needed leading to lack of dynamics, he (and Jaehyun) definitely needs more work on gracefulness - loosing his body with the softer musicality.
Shotaro is getting more fluent in Korean, he even choreographed Dreamies dance by himself; his SKILLS and TALENT is just amazing. Don’t forget that he did THAT just for US🥺🦦
I love how Shotaro is getting recognized now for his insane dance skills. But it kinda makes me sad what's gonna happen to him next after the NCT 2021 promotions ends. Do we have to wait another year to see him perform again 😭😭😭😭 If Shotaro didn't debut in NCT, then he'd still be booked and busy in Japan as a pro dancer and dance teacher. Now that you've got Shotaro in NCT, y'all should make sure that his talents will not go to waste.

At this point, seeing Shotaro's level of dancing he can already be called as one of the best dancers in K-pop. So impressed about how NCT has different various of dancers. Shotaro's so good at hip-hop, Winwin is good with similar to ballet dance, Ten's so good with a lot of dance genres, and the fact that this not even half of the dance liners. A lot of people might be complaining about their unlimited concept but it actually builds so much excitement and anticipation to me. I'm anticipating them a lot because there's a lot more to come, more different types of personality, talent and aura. I just love this group.
I was really surprised by Shotaro's dance. NCT's dance line is absolutely amazing like you said. I really hope that we'll get performance videos or just practice videos from the dance line in the future

Pretty sure everyone's fave part in 90s Love was Sungchan's part and Shotaro did it so well!!! The choreography he did for NCT's Dream's songs suit the songs so well. between how early Shotaro started dancing and his professional career before becoming a trainee, I think Shotaro is one of the members who's physically able to use the most strength and force while dancing. He's really loud when stomping the floor and every move he makes doesn't look light at all (ex. YangYang has a floaty dance style), rather it's more like he's putting enough strength to throw a punch in every move but carefully controls the movement so that it doesn't overshoot or end up looking messy and aggressive. idk how he does that but that must take a heck of a lot of physical strength
The fact that we can see the lines of his body when he dances so clearly despite him wearing really baggy clothes just shows how amazing of a dancer he is.

Loved that he spent time with Sungchan too and they danced together! between how early Shotaro started dancing and his professional career before becoming a trainee, I think Shotaro is one of the members who's physically able to use the most strength and force while dancing. He's really loud when stomping the floor and every move he makes doesn't look light at all (ex. YangYang has a floaty dance style), rather it's more like he's putting enough strength to throw a punch in every move but carefully controls the movement so that it doesn't overshoot or end up looking messy and aggressive. idk how he does that but that must take a heck of a lot of physical strength
The fact that we can see the lines of his body when he dances so clearly despite him wearing really baggy clothes just shows how amazing of a dancer he is.
