- This travel is through Indus Highway N55 road. It is the hidden option that is not known to many people. The first patch of 70-80 km is a double road whereas the remaining part is a single road. Even the single road is very good in quality and less traffic. One can easily travel on 120km/h speed thoroughly.
This is the alternate of N5 National highway and it can be considered as Hyderabad Sukkur Motorway.
By travelling through this road, you can have your road trip between Karachi and Sukkur in 5-6 hours.

During 1944 we as kids enjoyed the our Car Drive from Hyderabad to Sukkur (our birth Home) via Rohri Sukkur Barrage

Good info, i also travelled a lot to Khi~Sukkur/Rahimyarkhan but its not recmmonded for travel, secondly there is not much difference in Mileage, only 10-15K.M Less than N-5 & that doesnot matter so i highly suggest only N5 Route.

میں بھی اس روٹ کو 4 سے 5 دفعہ ٹرائی کر چکا ہوں کراچی سے لاہور جاتے ہوئے اور لاہور سے کراچی اتے ہوئے
اس کا فائدہ یہ ہے کہ اس پر ٹرک کی لمبی لائنیں بہت کم ملتی ہیں
اور میں اس کو ہر دفعہ رات میں ہی کراس کیا ہے اس پیچ کو

Bhai Nawabshah say Qazi Ahmed 30 mins ki drive per hai aur main khi say Nawabshah 2.5 hours main pohanch Jata mujhe Nahi Lagta yeh risk laina chahayey sehwan walay road ka

Agar main 4 AM ko karachi say niklon aur Hyderabad 5:30 AM ko ponchon, may end Kay month ko sobah ho chuki hothi hai with family thu kia iss route ko use karsakhta hon..... Plz reply. Ye route mere zehan main hai aur tha.

If you are going with upper grade vehicle then it's ok.... but even then I recommend you to use n5 because is time py tu n5 p bhi theek hy aur rush nhi hota.. main khud regular traveller hoon. N5 is the best route...

بھائی میں تقریبا 5 سے 6 دفعہ اس روڈ سے گزرا ہوں اور اتفاق کی بات یہ ہے کہ ہر دفعہ رات کو 12 ۔۔1بجے ہی اس پیج پر سفر کیا
اگر قاضی احمد برج پر نہ ٹرن لیتے تو سیدھا سیون شریف شہر میں چلے جانا تھا

VERY BAD DECISION TO SELECT THIS ROUTE, RISKY ESPECIALLY NOT RECOMENDED WITH FAMILY, WHILE TRAVELLING ALWAYS TRY TO GET THE ROUTE WHICH IS COMMON,

Helo aoa... anybody travelled karachi to sukkur through hyderabad and nawabshah... on mehran highway which connect n5 at khairpur... how is road condition? I have found this on map but dont exactly know the road condition...secondly another route via jamshoro qazi ahmed daur and baandhi and then khairpur... any body have any information please share here... as I travels regularly on n5 but this is so busy road and traveling is very hard and my intentions are to avoid n5..thansk
Sir jee main nay raat ko travel kia tha 11pm onwards. Kafi sunsaan hy. Wapis is raasty say raat ko aany ki himmat nai hui.

I really appreciate your video but you don't mentioned that how much km distance from Hyderabad to sukkar by n 5 g t roadand by n 55 industry highway
Using normal N5 (GT Road): Distance ~ 350 km, Time ~ 6 hours
Using this N55 (Indus Highway): Distance ~ 325 km, Time ~ 4:45

یہ روٹ بہت اچھا متبادل ہے اور صرف دن کے وقت استعمال کرنا چاہیے، میں نے ایک ماہ پہلے ہی اسے استعمال کیا تھا۔ بہت آسانی ہوگئی تھی، ورنہ نیشنل ہائی وے پر ٹرک ٹرالر والوں نے روڈ گھیرا ہوا ہوتا ہے اور کسی کو راستہ نہیں دیتے کار والے کی رفتار بہت خراب کرتے ہیں اور دوسرا وہ روڈ بھی خراب ہے

Hyderabad to sukkur via N5 is total 309 kilometer.... and Hyderabad to qazi Ahmed 130km via N55 and qazi ahmed to sukkur 207.. total is 337km
According to Google it is 28 km longer than N5..
May be you calculated from anywhere else.. or possibly Google map given you an alternative path...

It means Indus Highway connecting Peshwar to Kaachi is just a myth. Actually it is Peshawar ...Hyderabad road in actuall.
It is another joke with with Karachi, the largest City Of Pakistan.
It was Super highway in past, renamed as M 9 Motorway, without builting a new ever Motorway section between Karachi and Hyderabad.

Very nice and informative. Good work bhai. But you did not tell how much distance or time did we save as compared to National Highway 5.
If you are coming from Karachi, the saved distance would be only 20-25 km but the saved time would be 1-2 hours, may be more because I'm case of N5 you have to go through Hyderabad city and all of the traffic rush in Sindh

You have not mentioned difference of shorter route
Distance wise not much difference, but due to rush on N5, this route can be 30 mins to 1:30 mins shorter
This road is full of Great Sindh Police u must have thousands Rupees to feed them

I am not going to suggest any one to use this road until the road complete s so pls avoid this road because the road is under construction I often use this road to go sehwen so I have an idea about this road

This is called N55. I came through this road last week and its being constructed. Drive safe as it becomes single road after half an hour.

@@whirlingdarvaish2731 WA, no you should not travel at night as 1. There wont be any help if you encounter problem as the road doesnt have substantial population
2. The road is two way at most of the journey and light from opposite vehicle will slow you down and might cause accidents. Use the road only in day time.

Honay ko koi nahi taal sakta lekin din mae safe hai. Mein ne dekhi thii 1-2 applied for cars. Sirf police tang karti hai warna koi problem nahi... Normal speed per iss route se jayein to zyada se zyada 7-8 hours lagtay hain. Jab k agr normal roure yani pura N5 se jayein to 9-10 hours

@@mominagha yes it is safer because it has lots of traffic and petrol pumps and shops everywhere. So in case of any emergency, you would not be alone.

Mohtaram, You r advised to correct your information regarding law n order on Indus highway. Please dont spread disinformation. This is the most secured and safest of all highways/motorways in Pakistan, unlike to sialkot motorway and even M3 where commuters experienced rape incident and countless harassment incidents as well.
Sindh has the safest n most secured highways network.

I have travelled on this route and I would never recommend it to anyone....specially travelling with family and at night.....this route is full of Sindhi looteray and most corrupt police.....

اس روٹ سے فاصلہ کم نہیں ہوتا لیکن کم ٹریفک اور صاف روڈ کی وجہ سے رفتار زیادہ ہوتی ہے اور فاصلہ جلدی کٹ جاتا ہے۔
