You said that if the account is bank account we won't put bank in the leger .so If the account in the general Leger was about office furniture and office equipment what will I put in the ledger?
Example 2: Why are we using the Bank Account. Why not the Cash Account, since the inventory was paid with cash.? I have a similar example, and the exercise has a T account for both Bank and Cash, so now i don't know where to post it.
Bank and cash are in most cases used interchangeably. When we say that you buy something on cash, it doesn't necessarily mean physical cash but means that you paid for it upfront.
I can't comment on GJ lesson, I wanted to ask if how do you know if it's belonging to General Journal, because I done my journals and ledgers and now I'm stuck with GJ please HELP.🙏🙏

For the general ledger, do we balance only the bank account? What about for example the inventories, station etc?
