There is not much options for 1 room apartments however you can get the basement for sure 1 room,kitchen,washroom,laundry The major areas of big cities are too expensive you have to pay 1200 to 1500$ per month for basement But if you go to the other areas you can get the cheapest at 900$ per month but still you have to pay for the utilities. However if you are planning to go to other province then Ontario they are way more cheaper

I have worked threw a agency and was getting paied 19$ per hour. Even now finding a job is hard due to covid but agency's are offering jobs at 16 upto 19 $ per hour. You just have to find the right agency get registered.
