When I was 16 my mother taught me how to perform a ritual for finding the right partner. The most important part was putting a lot of thought into (or discovering) exactly what qualities I wanted to find in a partner, which was really more about knowing myself. And then, letting go and trusting that the universe would bring that partner to you when the time was right. Also, you would ask for a specific sign that would help you to recognize this person when you meet them. The sign I chose was that the person would be driving a specific kind of vehicle. Afterward, I found out that he had bought the vehicle only the week before we met. We've been together for 15 years.
Thank you. This information just found me the moment i let go of my old patterns of mourning my mother, who died when i was 2. This might be a new way to recalibrate into meeting my true partner instead of chasing after a illusion of my mother's love.

The best book I've found as a practical guide to Higher Magick is Donald Michael Kraig's Modern Magick 'Eleven lessons in the High Magickal Arts'.
The best explanatory text of read on Magick is Aliester Crowley's 'Magick Without Tears'. His Book 4 is one of the best Occult books along with 'The Book Of The Law'.
The only tarot deck worth consulting is The Tarot Of The Egyptians or 'The Thoth Deck' with the accompanying 'Book Of Thoth' to show you how to use it & understand this, it is not for foretelling the future as so many think. This is a good video...for a change on one's on magick.
I know someone who specialises in ancient Arabic and Hebrew who says Crowley's work has mistakes and mistranslations

I get it,, starting out I had a more profane approach to this very topic, because of exactly what was stated about understanding what was going on on the inside as opposed to rushing something to get a temporal exterior result.

Interesting video. Just thought I'd correct a common myth you repeated. As I understand it, most people who win a lottery don't in fact squander their new wealth. Studies of these people have shown that they very often simply become "wealthy" and that wealth becomes intergenerational. Meaning: they invest it and it funds a new way of life.
I think the origin of the myth lies with Calvinists who viewed people as having "what they deserve" from God; and so anyone who "cheats" and gets wealth without being one of God's elect will not be able to handle it.
This is such a great explanation of the nature of reality. Though, I think it only makes sense if you've found these answers for yourself first.

As much as I appreciate this video, I must express that as a witch, witchcraft is NOT opposed to high magick. I acknowledge that while it’s true most witches focus on low magick, witchcraft is not inherently a form of low magick. After all, if most of us are to use herbs and crystals in order to focus our specific intentions, we acknowledge the divine source that flows within all of us and connects us to each and every thing. If a witch is to be successful in their craft, we must acknowledge the Hermetic principle of as above, so below; as within, so without.
As for deities, the way I perceive them is consciousness / energy of whatever they specialize in (ex. Persephone would be a goddess that helps her devotees through process of death/rebirth, in a metaphorical sense, to help them transform by teaching them how to empower themselves). I do not think deity work is separate from animism. These deities are connected to us through consciousness, the way I see it is they are us and we are them. It’s also important to note that witchcraft is not a religious ideology (it is not the same thing as paganism), there are witches that are atheists. Not every witch works with deities in the first place.
I think instead of separating these two ideas that are not inherently contradictory to one another, we can learn to bring them together. Many witches are unfamiliar with ceremonial magick and I think even the way I practice my craft is foreign to many witches. From my experience, good sources of magick are so rare to come by and you have to do a lot of digging - and most people don’t want to go out of their way and accept surface-level education, probably without even considering to dive any deeper. But I think if the points you discuss in this video were more accessible to the witchcraft community, many witches would be more aligned with their true selves and their magick would be more successful.

@babyray9536 ...yeah... It's not always about raising a frequency, for me. Sometimes, it's changing an amplitude, and there are times that it is about lowering a vibration, because the higher vibration is too intense. For that matter, I don't even see things as positive or negative, either. Things simply exist. Positive and negative is a judgment that usually comes from an emotion that has been triggered and applied... A judgment. I prefer to operate from a viewpoint of discernment. The difference is that judgment is applying an emotional attachment, where discernment is simply recognizing things for what they are, and whether or not they resonate with you. If something doesn't resonate with me, I respond in a way that does resonate with me, to manifest something that is more resonant to me.

Interesting! According to your description I think aikido as taught by Morihei Ueshiba O’Sensei is a system of magick. He taught: “aikido is one spirit, four souls, and eight powers [4 pairs of complementary opposites].” He taught in terms of fire-water and heaven-earth. Tai Chi Chuan is essentially the same thing. Both teach that our mind replicates the fundamental dynamic of the universe, as well as unification with that dynamic. “As above, so below.”

If you have to act for the spell to work then whats the point of the spell in the first place
I have a question regarding the Hebrew letters and their configuration. How and why are they particularly special in terms of their form? They're supposed to be designed in such a way as to speak to us on some kinda subconcious symbolic level. But that alphabet is not the only one in existance that surely does this. I have to assume Greek Chinese Japanese and sanskrit also fall into that category though aside from Greek letters I haven't found any direct reference to that being the case, but it seems obvious given what I do know about those cultures. How are they all purporting to play the same role and represent the same thing and yet they all appear so structurally different? I know what they say the Hebrew letters symbolise, the mother letters and all that jazz. I want to understand why those particular designs are purported to be special. I don't want to know what the symbol is said to represent I want to know how its supposedly functioning. I suspect its tied into geometry but then my question just moves to why those angles are specifically functioning. And then it'd probably move to numerology but then same thing 😂 how are they functionally any different to any other symbol. The entirity of everything we experience could be seen as symbolic and indeed to our subconcious minds operationally are. I fail to see what makes these particular alphabets special. Clearly these are tied into astrology through sacred geometry and that appears to be the only basis far as I can see for them being supposedly special. But everything is tied into that system if that's the lense through which you choose to view the world so all symbols are equally just reflections of that reality. I'm asking all these questions I've already realised this is all the waffle of the mind 😂 but I like to go along with myself for the ride anyway

It exists because the universe exists. It’s the consciousness in every particle combined. It’s probably not aware in any sense we’re capable of understanding. So it’s probably not focused on optimization. Efficiency would probably be the laws of thermodynamics

Here' one last bit of advice from a ragtag, don't make wishes, commands or demands. A simple ask for help from the electrons/spirits around you goes way further than using your ego to guide your actions 💫

In Buddhism, desire is the root of all suffering. Desire is the consequence of attachment and one cannot achieve enlightenment while being tied to earthly things. I would highly recommend reading “Why Buddhism is True” by Robert Wright! It delves into the core philosophies of Buddhism and substantiates them from a psychological perspective. It’s helped me overcome a lot of my dependencies and has renewed how I experience life.

@@troublewithweebles I can see how non-attachment can be mistaken for giving up, but it’s a dedicated introspective practice that is in pursuit of a sort of existential liberation. Non-attachment doesn’t equate apathy or loss of meaning, it involves achieving a state of connection and separation from everything at the same time in a sense. I’m not an expert on the topic, but it’s helped me a lot, especially with depression and anxiety

This is just the Qabala though. There are many other, more simple and effective systems of Magick outside of the Qabala, some that are native to our blood, unlike this Nazarene nonsense.

This is a gross oversimplification, as astrology IS a branch of esotericism. Although I understand where you’re coming from, so many people misuse astrology because they approach it from a place of ego, like “I won’t be friends with you because you’re a Capricorn,” etc. I wouldn’t say these people are evil, they’re just judgmental and are ignorant to the true purpose of astrology.
