I just had a thought, the enemies in attack the light were based on animals like scorpions and turtles and the like. I was initially confused as to why they just made all of the enemies in this one more samey, but then I remembered that Steven was technically controlling the light army in the first game while hessionite is in charge of the new ones. I believe that the prism emulates it's user's style. It took the form of animals originally since Steven was taught to love live and let it go do it's own thing. The enemies became samey to fit with hessionite's ideology and thus ,homeworlds.

I love how in the Squaridot Battle, Squary uses her fans to vacuum Steven & friends towards her, just listening to This Music while all of them are running for their very lives in That fight just made the whole scene WAY More Epic!
She's one hostile Minecraft grass block.

Hey, good job on ripping the soundtrack. I don't have the game myself, so ripping it is incredibly tedious on my end (as I have to download gameplay footage and extract the parts without sound effects). I'm a bit bummed that I couldn't rip the soundtrack in time as I was nearly done with ripping this particular theme, but regardless, nice work.

The Forest Boss was the only one I ever had trouble with until I decided to have Stevonnie tear him a new one while Greg and Amethyst took care of the little guys.

The first boss is COMPLETEY unbalanced. it's basically forces you to have stevonnie. if you wanna beat it without it, you would basically have to GRIND so you could kill the guys with a single turn.

I beat it without Stevonnie.
It took 3 tries, one was because the game soft-locked.
I beat it with Smoky Quartz. They obliterate the first boss with zero issues.

Really late comment, but that battle was definetely meant to be done with Smoky, that 6 stars attack obliterate all small enemies.
That piano sequence is really awesome

This sounds partly like the music from the sence in change your mind when Steven slids down the tube on his shield
I really liked that song, wish there was a way to listen to it without having to watch change your mind for the 100th time.

Now with SU fully done and all 3 games out and 100%ted, i can say, Save the Light was the best, followed closelly by Attack the Light and last but not least Unleash the Light, the reason is StL is the most complete out of the 3, AtL is mostly because of nostalgia and the more simplistic design feels more unique, UtL is... just not for me
Whats wrong with unleash the light? Im currently playing save the light and im planning on buying unleash the light once i 100% save the light.
@@Faitorrr I dont really liked it tbh, its a good game and i do recommend it, its just not for me, i didnt really liked it, its way to cramped with content for a game designed for Apple Arcade in mind and it feels rushed at a few points, sometimes the possition system feels forced, but thats probably just personal issues
I feel like Unleash the light tries to be a sequel of the 1st game more than the 2nd one.

Anyone else think this sounds like a copyright-safe certain of the Dark Bowser final boss theme in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story?
The Boss battle's with this theme are: 1:The BladeaNateor 2: Squaridot 3:Exalicrush 4:The Light Warrior and finally 5:George the Light Warrior. Only Hessonite has her theme
The enemies in the labyrinth area of the pyramid o’ peril (or whatever people decide to call it) have this music play instead of the usual battle music, which I’m sure was probably an oversight/error in programming. Still a bit odd though.
@@ultra9867 I never saw it as a programming error, I always thought that maybe it is because of the special enemies with a lot of strength and life, especially in a battle that had a mage that took 50 life per shock wave and an enemy with a shield that can do you lose if you kill the others first and don't have Garnet.

The only time Greg is USEFUL, is when he collabs with amethyst, or you spam his attack points.

The game itself is not that hard
This game was spot on. All it was missing was two things. Well, three things.
*Lapis, Ruby, and Sapphire.*
All of these characters were in the game as featured, but they still weren’t playable. Lapis could have had the attack modes that she had from UNLEASH the light. Ruby has a gaulntlet, assuming that sapphire does too, they could have gauntlet attacks and fire and ice attacks. They wouldn’t have to be added to the plot, rather as a 100% complete award, considering the fact that people still play the game after they finish it. Hopefully GrumpyFace would, -but probably not- see this and decide to add it.

*Rugal*
150,000 HP
*Attacks:*
Reppuken - Shoots a short wave of energy at a gem, capable of dealing 10 HP damage if not blocked.
Light Kaiser Wave - Shoots a ball of energy at a gem. If not blocked, this deals 12 HP damage.
God Press - Grabs a gem and slams it against the edges of the screen. If not blocked, this deals 1/3 HP damage rounded down and inflicts the paralysis status.
Light Genocide Cutter - Runs up to a gem and spinkicks them up into the air. This deals 45 HP damage if not blocked.
Dark Barrier - Places a green barrier in front of Rugal that deflects projectile attacks. This barrier is broken with contact attacks, however.
Scorpion Deathlock - Grabs a gem and pulses blue ki into them. If not blocked, this deals 20 HP damage.
Meter Charge - Charges Rugal's meter. If the meter is charged, Rugal is now able to perform powerful attacks for 10 turns.
*Meter Charge Attacks:*
Heavy Kaiser Wave - Shoots a wave of energy as tall as Rugal himself at a gem. If not blocked, this deals 40 HP damage.
Heavy Genocide Cutter - Runs up to a gem, then spinkicks them 3 times in the air before axe kicking them down to earth. If not blocked, this deals 70 HP damage.
Genocide Heaven - Grabs a gem and brutally mauls them with multiple punches and kicks, before using two Genocide Cutters to finish them off. If not blocked, this instantly poofs a gem. If Rugal uses this attack, his meter automatically resets to zero.
Dead End Screamer - Leaps towards a gem and drills on top of them, with his feet where the target's neck would be. This deals 55 HP damage and cannot be blocked.
G End - Grabs a gem and holds them to the sky. A surge of Orochi ki surrounds him and the target, dealing massive damage to the target before Rugal throws them to the ground. If not blocked, this deals 100 HP damage. If Rugal uses this attack, his meter automatically resets to zero.
Rugal is the only boss in the game to be able to have 3 attacking turns. Good luck.
