Even though I know according to the story his mother is supportive but I haven't seen her nor has she been spoken about much in this story. Like I said in an earlier comment if I were Joey I would've involved her in the process very early. I wouldn't be trying to hide it from her at all. Being Joey with my personality I wouldn't hide what I am changing into and I would have my mother there by my side just as much as Emily and Carter. I would have my mother help me out as far as a new name goes as soon as I know that I am changing into a girl. I would ask her, mother what name would've I have been given if I was born a girl. I ask that since I am becoming a girl so I can at least change my name to a name that is what you would've given me if I were born a girl. Showing my mother she is important to me as well as my friends Emily and Carter.
💯 on the mark lol I think so as well , there is so much more that could be said in the story to really flesh it out so to speak. that being said this story is still done far better than many stories are done, so many are very much lacking and are many that are not even complete which is a huge disappointment, it's like they wrote the first part of a multipart story but never completed to rest to finish it

Joey should relocate the fairy lights to Carters dorm room lol ( without him knowing ) it would be fun to see how he reacts when he finds them
