32 years ago I used to volunteer at Cardiff ski Centre. It’s where I learned to ski and subsequently became a ski instructor. If you can survive Dendex, you can ski anywhere!
I have been riding for more than 15 years in Scotland and have never had the pleasure of a dry ski slope. I have always been jealous of the European alpine scene (and therefore spent a few seasons) but I should have been looking south during the poor poor winters and long long summers. X
When I was 11 years, back in 96, UK SAS soldiers rented the hole 'skislope mountain' where we had our cabbin. Myself and my coussin asked the english "general" if we could join in. He replied that 'if we promised to make fun of the soldiers, we got to ski on the mountain and use the ski lift for free.' There were falling soldiers every where and we threw snow with our skis on everyone... Learned alot of english profanity that day... The UK really need these slopes, dont have snow, make the best of it... Scandalnavia...
Can't have it if it's seasonal, must a gear price discount for short a few moths winter. They have a good snowboarders community bringing them together in the evenings and discussing their coding projects. Need it because your haunted by memories,.
i would like to snowboard but have u seen how much the parts are? £200 something the cheapest just for the deck forget boots and clothes and sticks lol. over grand i need to start and see if im gonna do it often. i do skateboarding and my skateboards just over £200 and parts are cheaper.
I am from Norway, we have 2,4 winter olympic gold medals each on average, and I think this is a great idea when you dont have snow, gotta work what you got... Scandalnavia...

best part of dry slopes is the fact you don't have to be in your parka all the time.
