Won't ever forget the first time I heard this song, going from work to school in 1995, on the single radio station that played rock in my city (I'm from Fortaleza in Brazil, by the way), and the electric current that run thru my body. Yeah! Time really flies!

Today it does not matter, we'll all be Rock N Roll stars, anyone who's ever been to an Oasis concert knows that this vibe was reigning throughout the performance. This song always echoed with screams and I remembered the madness that was to be part of and be a fan of this band that was so strong and optimistic during the 90's. There was no sad moment, we were all in ecstasy. I will never forget this time.

This is classic Oasis nostalgia for me. I actually remember borrowing this album on cassette (yes it was released via cassete also) from a school friend. Oasis were so big at this time, people nowadays wouldn't believe it. I personally think this was the best version of Oasis. There subsequent albums never matched the same energy and rustic sound. Morning Glory was obviously a huge success, but it sounded too polished for me which was to be expected as the band had gone to a different level and had now 'made it' instead of trying to 'make it'.
I copied my sisters CD onto cassette 😅 I miss the 90's 😥 Great memories!

I go back to my room (I was 11 years old) I put it on my Bluetooth speaker, I have never liked a song so much in my life, this song was Rock N'Roll Star. Absolutely the best version I heard was at the Taylor Hawkin's tribute concert with Dave Grohl on drums. The way he belted the drums, that's the way the drums should sound on the record. Magnificent.
