    With the billions of dollars that Amazon brings in, why didn’t the spend the money to reinforce the structural material and even build steel safe rooms that would hold however many workers are staffed for each shift. this is unacceptable. Why didn’t they tell the night workers to NOT come in knowing these storms were being televised for days in advance. Workers families should sue Amazon. No excuse for those trapped, injured, and killed.

      Good luck wit dat! Da Court & Legal shitstem, favorz large Corporationz, over mployeez, OBVIOUSLY. Limited Liability, limitz da Lawyerz ability 2 seek restitution. Perhapz if da familiez come 2gether, sum scumbag Lawyer will b able 2 realize a substantial lawsuit, BUTT dis iz unlikely 2 happen, bcause of da Limited amountz able 2 b recovered from these large corporationz & also bcause da familiez will probably lack cohesion, outside of sum Legal aide, pulling them 2gether.

      Julie I agree with you. Just some basic concern and caution in advance would have made all the difference. When a hurricane is coming, people prepare and businesses close. With such a storm as this one, it wouldn't have killed Amazon to close for a few hours just out of caution.

      In the building code a warehouse doesn't need to be built to withstand a tornado. The logic is that a warehouse doesn't have that many people working in it. I think the building code should have a special provision for warehouses like Amazon's where there are way more people inside than a normal warehouse.

      The fact its early december makes this a bit different as well as a modern building should withstand anything 1974 had to offer as far as storm.intensity . the way things line up and the results are comparable, the fact we are 6 months out from the peak season for tornadoes is quite telling. .

    • @Ace-Ace1
      @Ace-Ace1 2 года назад +1

      It would be more comparable to the tri state tornado. Footage shows (more than one possibly) that this tornado that hit the factory came from Hickory Ridge, Arkansas and kept moving through Campbellsville, Kentucky and possibly further! We'll find out if it broke the record of the OLD tri-state tornado distance and if it spawned a bunch of tornadoes like the 1974 and 2011 super outbreaks
