I haven't watched all your video yet but I just have to add this comment. The part about how people your age are having families, houses, partner's etc while you're at home is exactly me too! I'm also in the same boat about quitting and selling what I have but then I'm like the effort of talking to ppl, the ppl that ask 100 questions and ghost you, taking pics of every little ding, dent and damage of pcs albums etc, packaging, buying supplies etc etc is such a big hassle! I was literally like I could just bin a lot of albums I have that don't have pcs etc because a lot of ppl are focused on pcs, the same with me lmao. I even gave albums out one time but it was so much stress and anxiety thought I'd pass out. I was literally talking to myself earlier about if I quit or if I stayed and the conclusion is, it's the exact same. Okay yes I save money but then it's spent on a holiday and the money is gone again anyways, or I'd buy food or clothing. I find that no matter what you'll have something to to spend the money on or save but it's just sitting there until you spend it and you're back to square one. And the reality of not being able to move out with a housing crisis in like every country ever so it won't be happening anytime for me. And with that depressing ass shit, buying this stuff keeps me going and makes me happy. People always have their hobbies. Like how ppl love to collect expensive brand stuff, pokemon cards, baseball cards, lego etc I have Kpop stuff. Now that being said, I'll still definetly be in the will I just quit and sell everything mindset constantly. I also think the issue is at this age I expected more of myself and I haven't achieved what I thought I could have and when I'm buying this stuff I feel like I'm letting myself down in a way even though I've no control on a lot of things and almost 10 years into being adult I could've never predicted a quarter of the shit that has happened lmao so like yeah idek where I'm going with the rest of this comment but man what you said hit so hard because I was just thinking about it all earlier.
wow you just put everything in my head into words lol i’ve also been thinking about if i don’t buy this stuff what am i going to buy honestly? better just buy this stuff that does make me happy anyways lol it’s all very complicated in my brain and it doesn’t help that younger collectors tend to shame older collectors anyways and sometimes i feel a little weird still doing this after 10 years but i’m not hurting anyone so it’s fine 🙃
@@nfiaschoice I was literally on and off collecting since 2015, literally stopped in like 2019 and then started again after going on holiday to South Korea in 2023 💀 I wish I got into the groups I'm into now on holiday so I could've bought more 😢 It's definitely flack because they're jealous and cannot afford it to be fair. I knew a lot of older collectors like 10-20yrs older than me and even then I never saw it as an issue so it's weird fans are like that now lmao. I've bought more from Buyee and I'm like damn maybe now I should quit, new year new me lmaooo (that's a big fat lie wait until my faves release new merch/music even though I'm trying to catch up with older stuff, older being last year, so far 💀)

I watched the entire video while I resleeved some of my collections and I completely agree with watching any and every video about collecting😭 I truly enjoy watching videos of different kpop groups that I don’t collect just to see their collections, also about buying kpop supplies I personally don’t spend much money on binders but instead I splurge on sleeves since that’s what protects the most Ig ? 🥲 but don’t feel bad about changing your mind multiple times … I understand the struggle of getting random impulses of changing layouts or binders 😭 anyways loved the video !!
i have so many sleeves as well orz i went through a colored sleeve phase so now i have so many different colors of the dragon shield sleeves 😂 i just feel other people might be exhausted at me changing my mind so often tbh 🙃 and thank you!
