I can relate with the taking breaks part because nothing beats fresh ears. I'm working on an orchestral piece for a competition and just writing a minute of music or even a theme and stopping there really helps because then I actually want to work on it the next day

actually my average is the same, but I'm not so sure about the result ( in quality) 😅

I hope I can leave my day job in the near future to have 6-8 hours a day to write music! Right now, even writing a completely polished track in a week seems daunting.
