the customer's stories matter, I'm not 100% certain on a case by case but note they don't directly ask for any particular potion by name, they describe a situation and/or what they want the potion to accomplish and will pay for what you give them based on how well it works, like I bet that nightguard would have enjoyed a stoneskin potion and possibly even magical sight (maybe only in addition to the stoneskin or a similar preventative measure?) while the "cautious" beast slayer would probably have enjoyed sleep or any other damage effect like acid or fire in addition to the poison and would have probably paid handsomely for a straight death potion (though other effects to help the death would probably be welcome still).
@@BrianatorFTW I was moreso talking about the little side stories you can ask the sellers about, like the mushroom merchant who fell in a hole. I'm also a really big fan of the customer's stories though, it's a lot more interesting than just saying "I need this potion."
And I wouldn’t condone killing the guy anyway. A mild poison potion for some severe stomach issues, sure; but that tier 3 is definitely going to kill him.
You get more reputation if you sell a potion without haggling. Customers like just being able to walk out for the asking price! What I started doing was just letting them have stuff like healing potions for 50 or so. The reputation is worth more than like 20 gold
One tip to help you with XP, after you brew the potion, you can still continue stirring to get all of the XP along the path (i.e. at 15:10), you can also add water to get XP in that way. It does not affect the potion and once you cant get anymore XP, just click finish the potion :)
I wonder when he's gonna learn about the whirlpools Just in case you read this tyler, when you heat your potion, pay attention to them. They're a mechanic, not just a design.
Good tip if somebody need potion that both bounce and levitation work, make tier 5 out of both of them so it sells for more. Same with sleep and hallucinations.
tbh, guys who give you a negative rep order the best and rarest potions (except the poison lady), when you're at +100 i think it's a good strat you sell them some for a quick buck.
I enjoy this. But i get mildly irked when he gets to a new potion and doesn't grab the exp around it. Like, get your tier three, then keep stirring. Its not gonna lose it's power.
Btw in the alchemist machine, you dont need to do all the potions at once, for example if you need 2charm and 1 poison you can add to the machine a potion of 2 charm and a potion of 1 poison, it doesn't have to be in the same potion
I wonder if a sort of evil reputation would be a nice addition, you could get known for making potions for shady people for more money but maybe you have a chance of getting robbed or some downside
This game should be to be integrated into an MMO. If there was a robust gear, potion, scroll crafting system and a decent adventuring section I would sink days into that game. The in-game economy for a game like that would be dope.
Tyler, there is a song called Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, which the guy's dialogue hints at when he says he'll toss you a coin. Also the visual similarities between the two
I feel like there should be a mechanism to use the potions you make on yourself to gain a bonus with a certain likelihood (based on the quality of the potion)
I love that game and all and really like it, please do not speed it up the crunching of the different ingredients is like asmr and can listen to it all day long.
Potion Craft is back! Now that the game has been updated, I can finally play this all the way to its end. Enjoy!
Ok
Niiiice
Oh! It seems like we're back to normal uploads, welcome back from your trip!

Why haven't you been streaming lately?
YES I love watching you play this game. I hope enough people agree that it results in more Tyler potion videos.
Same
Agreement expressed.
This guy is cool and this game is cool.
I am for continuing this potion series on.
I love that the npcs you talk to have their own side stories and personalities, it has nothing to do with gameplay but it's really charming

Tyler: "are we flirting?"
Also Tyler: "hairy banana"

To be fair, they don't know the guy was a cheater. Realistically all they'd know was that a guy was found dead from your potions.
And I wouldn’t condone killing the guy anyway. A mild poison potion for some severe stomach issues, sure; but that tier 3 is definitely going to kill him.
@@fragrantwinter8233 we don’t know how potent a level 1 poison potion is, so level 1 could kill and level 3 could kill then turn the body into goop
@@nicolrb2210 True, but given what the potion is supposed to do, I can’t imagine that even a tier 3 would have *that* severe an effect.
@@fragrantwinter8233 some potent poisons act like acid in some ways
@@nicolrb2210 Really? …That’s actually quite interesting.

Yeah the customer needed ingredients for "going up" too so that works out for both of you.

What I started doing was just letting them have stuff like healing potions for 50 or so. The reputation is worth more than like 20 gold
Yeah, it really does make a difference. Anything valued less than 200 I just straight-up sell and for anything above I haggle.
I like how the Witcher customer said "and i'll toss you a coin"
toss a coin to your Witcher o valley of plenty

The mushroom grandpa is an inspiration! He even carries his farm around on his hat. Not afraid of no mycelium
The assassin/thief at 6:00 was definitely a Darkwing Duck reference.
Cant wait for this to come out but I hope it doesn’t get boring fast since the concept is really cool.
early access is out
Its tough for games not to get boring fast if you want a game that will keep you interested you should try red dead redemption 2
@@JaKingScomez got bored of it the second I loaded it up when it came out 😂
Eventually you'll play any game so much that it'll become boring quickly. It happens to all of us as some point or another and nothing can change that
@@AceFuzzLord tell that to fortnite sweats 😂💀
The Witcher pogchamp definitely made me snort, love these videos
15:10 pls dont forget that you can move even after your potion lv3 is already done. those precious xp points want to get collected
i think the mushroom merchant's story at 4:35 is a reference to the guy that survived 127 hours in a crevace then made into a movie
I wonder when he's gonna learn about the whirlpools
Just in case you read this tyler, when you heat your potion, pay attention to them. They're a mechanic, not just a design.
Please sate my curiosity
@@legion999 try going over one when your potion is heated
6:05 That's a good darkwing duck refference!
11:10 toss a coin to your Witcher o valley of plenty, o valley of plenty awaahooo
4:18 I keep reading the Mushroom salesman's lines as Bob Ross's voice in my head... it fits way better than it should.
I was waiting for this. Was just thinking about it a few days ago. Thanks for showing me this game, it's awesome!
Aliensrock knows that killing cheaters/ex-husbands will reduce reputation by almost half, but still always so excited giving the poison/fire potion
I absolutely loved these videos before, so glad I get to see more of this game!
Let's go they finally put it out!! So excited to watch this
Good tip if somebody need potion that both bounce and levitation work, make tier 5 out of both of them so it sells for more. Same with sleep and hallucinations.
tbh, guys who give you a negative rep order the best and rarest potions (except the poison lady), when you're at +100 i think it's a good strat you sell them some for a quick buck.
When Tyler said "very nice potion" at 5:34 I was wondering if he saw +69 coins.
I enjoy this. But i get mildly irked when he gets to a new potion and doesn't grab the exp around it. Like, get your tier three, then keep stirring. Its not gonna lose it's power.
The same goes for water, I usually don't click "brew potion", but "continue brewing" instead and then just use water to collect more exp
Hell yeah, hope to see a lot more of this game! About to finish the entire playlist of Turmoil, that's been a fun series too.
Btw in the alchemist machine, you dont need to do all the potions at once, for example if you need 2charm and 1 poison you can add to the machine a potion of 2 charm and a potion of 1 poison, it doesn't have to be in the same potion
oh man, this would save a lot of ingredients
Wait whaaaat that's completely different than what I thought!
Edit: If it were true. But it isn't.
Um no that's false
@@pascalepnl7478 its true, try it
@@yehonatanschwartz5234 I did. It doesn't work. If you try to put a second potion in the machine the first potion goes back to your inventory.
13:00 me: *looks at the fast growth potion* wow he has the perfect one again.
Love that the devs put in a dark wing duck reference at 6:02
Somehow this game is getting more weird with every episode.
And I love it.
Gotta say the guy who wanted the invisibility potion was totally referencing Darkwing Duck XD
I wonder if a sort of evil reputation would be a nice addition, you could get known for making potions for shady people for more money but maybe you have a chance of getting robbed or some downside

East is more like healing and beneficial things while west has more dangerous or volatile things
Love the aesthetic and hand-drawn look, this is going to be relaxing!
Should have sold the cheaters wife a hallucination potion, so he won't die, but he wouldn't have much fun either.
i saw this come out on discord and i was waiting for you to make a video, keep up the good content!
I feel I have anticipated this video more than I should. Thanks for the series.
I'm always caught by surprise when one of your videos end because i'm just so invested in them!
5:30 couldn’t have said it better myself, Tyler!
Everybody say it with me...
'potion seller I am going into combat and require your strongest potions'
'My potions are too strong for you traveller'
sells the potion for 69 gold. "very nice potion"
now this is why I stay up for these videos:)
Tyler, there is a song called Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, which the guy's dialogue hints at when he says he'll toss you a coin. Also the visual similarities between the two

6:02 Darkwing Duck is that you👀
One tip for money is to haggle the crap out of people buying necromancy potions, in the demo I sold a necromancy potion for over 1k.
I’ve been waiting for this video
(So excited)
Yes the alien man is making questionable juice again
Pay attention to the whirlpools on the map, they have a use that can save you ingredients
Hey there, Gary here. Still on my mission to like all videos since I started watching. Not even a few month in to my 4 year liking grind ha ha
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! MY FAVOURITE GAME IS BACK!!!!!1
so glad this game got an update :looking forward to more!!!
I remember an app called pocket potions and I just wish I could have it on my phone again
some missions allow for more than 1 potion, like the sword one or the jumping one (it could be a fying potion)
He is the terror that flaps in the night -- he is DUCK DODGERS.
THANK YOU FOR THE NEW POTION CRAFT VIDEO
Ngl, Herb Lady is kinda cute with her dialog. xD
SO GLAD THERES MORE OF THIS GAME!!
If U have some remaining track left when you finish a potion you can still use it to get xp
Honestly one of my favorite series
the witcher really made a toss a coin joke lmao
"Wait, are we flirting?" - Tyler 2021
I want a potion of charm and necromancy now! Love driven zombies or some stuff.
I feel like that last customer wanted a growth potion, or a charm potion.
I think you can grab the exp books AFTER you brew the potion and save the recepie, without any negative effects
You definitely can.
My favorite game you play, other than btd6. thanks for coming back!
OH MY GOD, THANK YOU, FINALLY!!!!!!!
5:41 I think he wants healing/stoneskin.
I dont know if there is a person of growth but if there is it might be perfect for the brothel guy
