@@elijah5850 I haven't. However, I still love the idea. The only issue is i'm not the best rom hacker. Art is more of my side of things, so i'd have to find someone to help me out with the hack, and I'd have to find all of their pokemon, and I'd have to have the time to do it. But the idea excites me. I just don't have everything I need to do it.
Fun fact: Froslass is based on the yuki-onna (from Japanese folklore); which translates to "snow woman". This is why it's a female-only species.
It's also the only Ice/Ghost type

I think Froslass’ skin is purple underneath the skull/ice thing because she was a woman who died of hypothermia, it can make your skin frostbit and blue/purple

Some Pokedex entries are messed up or just weird.

That last one is adorable
It bounces constantly, using its tail as a spring. The shock of bouncing keeps its heart beating.

I was playing along while you guys were drawing...
1st Drawing: Originally thought it was Medicham, but eventually figured it was the monkey from sun and moon.
2nd Drawing: I thought it was either Cranidos or Shieldon for a long while, until he mentioned the stretchy skin, then I realized it was Scraggy.
3rd Drawing: When he said 'Frozen Woman' I immediately knew it was Froslass, since she's one of my favourite ice types.~

I didn’t know the first one since I haven’t seen much of it. I knew Scraggy from when I was younger and I would love reading the Dex entries from that generation, and Frostlass I only knew from Pokémon videos I watched
1:15 totally mislead me. But of course there were multiple games with Oranguru in them.
The second one just imediatly went downhill as soon as he drew the eyes

I am level grinding pokeboys while watching this...I always love when a pokedex entry is just insanely morbid out of nowhere, my favorite being Bewear which will break your spine from hugging you too hard
Y'know for about five seconds Jacob's actually looked like a Pokémon.
I honestly thought he was going for that triceratops guy for that duration. Boy was that incorrect.

Oh my god this episode was incredible. PLEASE do more of these "draw a Pokemon based on solely its Pokedex entry" episodes! If you do, I'd like to make some special requests/suggestions (below so no one who might draw gets spoiled):

-Gorebyss
-Darumaka
-Sliggoo
And of course SO MANY of the ghosts have amazing entries, you could just do multiple ghost-themed episodes. IMO some of the best are Haunter, Gengar, Misdreavus, Dusclops, Drifloon, Yamask, Jellicent, Phantump, Gourgeist, Sandygast, and Mimikyu (especially its Busted Form).
Or honestly you guys could do an Ultra Beast episode, which would be pretty fun. Buzzwole, Guzzlord, Poipole, and Blacephalon have especially hilarious entries! (And honestly I just want to see one of you guys try to draw Celesteela, from memory or by name or by Pokedex entry or by description, WHICHEVER. It's just... a lot. There's so much going on in that design.)

Scraggy is one of my favorite pokemon and I was like "fuck, I KNOW that I know a pokemon that headbutts, what is it? I know this shit..." and I skipped ahead to see what it was and I screamed bc scraggy is ICONIC for headbutting and he's MY FAVORITE and I'm just so PEAVED >:(

Fun fact: Froslass and Snorunt are likely based off the Yukionna and the Yuki Warashi, two yokai of japanese folklore. For more information on the Yukionna, read the pokedex entry as it describes the Yukionna pretty much to the T. She's a messed up dame, that one!
the Yukiwarashi, on the other hand, is an adorable snow kid who just wants to play and be pampered for the winter, after which it disappears come spring and comes back the next year. It's a precious little snowball.
unless it's based off the Yukinko. At which point it's a whole different snow baby, and a much more malicious one: The Yukinko pairs up with the Yukionba, another snow woman monster. The Yukionba is found cradling the Yukinko in the snow and asks travelers to hold the baby, and if they do, the still-teething Yukinko freezes them in a block of ice to feed it's Yukionba wet-nurse. that's terrifying.

Probably a bit late, but regarding (Spoilers for the ep, i guess?) Scraggy, you do see him pull his skin up to his chin in his Black/White sprite animations. So there. Now you know that.

Not only that, but in the anime, Ash's Scraggy was OBSESSED with headbutting things. I can still remember the cute little animation they had for every time he head-butted XD

In honor of Bethesda "It Just Works" Studios releasing a new game, you guys should do a "draw video game glitches based on their descriptions" challenge. So you get told "this Assassin's Creed glitch causes a character's face skin to be invisible", or "this Fallout 4 glitch stretches a person out like they're wearing power armor when they're not".

I was so confident in Cranidos until they brought up the skin, which made me realise Scraggy/Scrafty.

Y'know, apparently -- if the anime is to be believed -- the guy who writes the Pokedex entries -- Professor Westwood V (the Fifth) -- isn't always truthful when writing his Pokedex entries, which I can believe, because the Pokedex claims that Spoink's heart will stop if it ever stops bouncing. If that was true, how does Spoink not die when it faints?

Some fans just cant get enough of these crazy creatures. I started owning my own pokemon game at Gen 4 (Diamond) and I just can't not love every little creature... except Stunfisk.
I only got the last one. Not used to the English entries, but wouldn't have guessed the first two anyways, since I never much cared for them.

I think your suggestion is great, but should be more specific. A lot of SCPs either need context that you only get by reading the site a lot (mostly for themes/why they would exist), or are just downright silly.
Well, someone familiar needs to pick a couple. I think the obvious choices are Shy Guy, Weeping Angel Guy, and...I dunno. A funny one.

I got scraggy with ”loose skin”
The Froslass dex entry is pretty close to how how yuki-onna form and operate compare to a lot of the other pokemon that are goofier takes on classic youkai

the band steppenwolf is actually named after Hermann Hesses novel "steppenwolf". Hesse was quite a famous german author and his book was very influential in zhe 60s and 70s... hence the name of the band

Well, I absolutely love your idea for a horror trail in Pokemon Snap. Now that we have a new version of the game on Switch, I sincerely hope there will be expansions or DLCs like this.
I'm going to sound like such a nerd, but I recognized every pokedex entry right away.
I knew all the Pokemon but Froslass was the only one I got right away by it's Pokedex entry. Most ghost types are easy to guess from that. If you do another episode and haven't done either of these give Julia.
"According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest." or "An abandoned plush doll became this Pokémon. They are said to live in garbage dumps and wander about in search of the children that threw them away."

First video ive seen on this channel. I like it a lot, and this is a pure guess, but i think sticking to just the first gen pokemon might make this much more fun to watch.
With the upcoming re-release on the Switch, I would love to see one of these for the monster of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. If only to see Julia draw something called the Half-Brute.
scps you don't know please! With Julia! I recommend the lizard that's really hard to kill, although if you know any of them you probably know it, it's pretty mainstream. Also good is the sentient coyote that barfs water and the absolute shit ton of dogs with him that explain the "dog days of summer", or the pinata that breaks children
