I can't believe how much DB I've watched... these achievements are awesome to watch.
For the luck mode achievement, I guess DB forgot that you start with 5 more HP if you don't take damage from Dracula in the prologue stage.
That doesn't work for Luck Mode if I remember correctly

I was just checking a Richter speedrun, found BenAuton's Any% video and was surprised that you don't have the WR for that one. I feel like there is a way to do that route with a slight alteration or two in order save at least a second somewhere. I have no idea, but hey, it's another goal to work towards eh?
About a decade ago someone made a memcard with a save of luck mode altered to have also 1 luck and another with the same stats but stuck at level 99. I beat both. The be first quickly turns into a normal run after a few levels. The other was a little more tricky since I could only use equipment and spells. Damascus sword was the first weapon to do any real damage. End game I was a god with two ref+15 necklaces.

The buffing / items strats before fights with tyrfing i would say are actual just good use of game knowledge, would be completely idiotic to ban that, you're not using any glitch whatsoever for that so..
I'd bet some money that you get the gargoyle when knocked onto a ledge like you did

I was wondering, can you RNG manip using the Tactics menu? I figure the game has to set an RNG value so the fights always play the same otherwise it would get desynced. But if it does, does that carry to playable Alucard after the recording? Or does the game generate an entirely new value for him.

i feel like achievements should be for casuals cant imagine them being beat the game 100% in 10 min or complete the map to 400% with oob areas and all
