Big Timer surprisingly, I dont carry a knife. I actually plan to address that in a video soon. In gym shorts I can only imagine carrying in a belly band type holster but I actually have no experience with them.
Big Timer thank you for making your way to our channel. Feel free to share any of the videos you like. Also share the ones you hate because YOUR OPINION MEANS NOTHING
Until now I couldn't shoulder my M16 and change my baby's diapers for the life of me. Thank good I found your video, that's true tactical advice for 2019. Amazingly entertaining and funny, glad I found you now, in the future your channel's gonna get BIG
Damn good review and info delivered comically in under 9 minutes.. caused me to subscribe on just one vid (that never happens). I have no idea why or how others spend 26 fuggin minutes reviewing a bag they've owned 30 minutes.
Dude I'm so appreciative of you saying that... I pay extremely close attention not to do all the shit that drives me nuts in other videos. Number one is taking too long to get to the point... like we are 4 minutes in and you haven't even shown me the thing we're talking about... and another is talking to me about some shit you've never even used. I've carried guns and diapers in this thing for years. Thanks for sticking around!
I have the Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger. For 8 years, this bag has been so reliable as I carry it almost everywhere. (As you can see I'm wearing it on my thumbnail pic too) To everybody who's thinking of purchasing, you will not be disappointed. They are made very high quality with so many pockets and variety of uses. 10/10!
Best Gear Review of this bag I've seen so far. And I've watch several. No Bullsh*t, a little humor, and REAL Dad stuff. Although I'm Grandpa now. I'm old as F**k and a lot fluffier than I ever was. Maybe I need a gym membership. But me and my Grandkids are protected by a Glock 19. James Yeager used to say, "Glock 19 is never the wrong answer".
LOL. I have the same bag, same color. Has held up like a boss for 6 years. The only difference in my setup is that i swapped out the pull loop for the gun/hydration compartment with hi-vis yellow paracord. Also, couldn't tell, but i have the Maxpedition velcro holster with an additional loop for a mag. Keep 'em coming, Icy.
You’re Too FN funny Brother! I’m a retired Cop- old Army Special Opps, JKD guy who retired early to be a, ”The Stay Home Dad” ...You’re the most Real Guy on RUclips, after watching this video, my family is pretty sure you and I are twins definitely same vocabulary.... after LMAO, I Punched the a Subscribe button... you gotta do a, “Dad Throw Down Cooking Video” next.... 👍❤️🙏🏻
Hah, I have a diaper bag (it's black) as my range bag. For off-body, a $12 Walmart canvas black purse with three zip pockets. On body, a Remora. Great vid!
Dude I´m really into edc stuff and tactical/selfdefence and all.. Ive seen a lot of videos about this bag.. and now all Im thinking about is how freaking badass you are. Liked! by the way where tf are your subs..
If you find that you're having trouble finding the zip lace under pressure you could try securing it in place with some black electrical tape, that might be strong enough to hold through the day without making it harder to open the zip.
My Boys are 3 and 4 years old. I found this Video to late :-( But I have a TT Modular Sling Pack 20 now. It really works on your shoulder after a while.
You could make some minor modifications and optimise the draw on this bag a lot more than your current configuration. The gun pouch zip you took the loop off is set in the correct position; the zip that you kept the loop on requires too much indexing and is a weak link. Change the small zipper paracord loop for a much larger fist sized zipper pull that is ideally weighted so that it hangs down and can be grabbed easily (try a small monkey fist lanyard, that dangles down almost into your right hand when the bag is positioned on your back. Now in one fluid motion you grab the larger zipper lanyard with your right hand, pull the lanyard down, then forward and then across your chest. When the bag is on your chest grab the bag with your left hand anywhere to secure, and continuing in one motion with your right hand without altering your grip on the zipper lanyard now pull backwards on the zipper and open your gun pocket, now let go of the zipper and grab your weapon. Much less indexing this way and a faster fluid all in one motion to open your bag. (One thing you may wish to do is choose your shoulder strap length and then set it and then fold up and then securely cable tie the excess shoulder strap out of the way semi permanently.)
I’ve been getting in the car with my bike messenger bag like that the whole time I’ve ever carried, honorable mentions but aren’t as practical: hiking chest rigs and fanny packs
Great video. I dont have carseats anymore (thank god) this bag is awesome I wish is had 2 straps but the sling has its versatility. I had a 5.11 rush 12 but a too bulky And firm.
Dude...why didn’t you tell me about the carrier tip before my kids outgrew that kind of thing? Seriously, you need to make more of an effort to seek people out and show them that trick!;)
Gotta be careful... if ur putting ur weapin in that pouch w no holster, make sure u don't have a round in the chamber... u don't want an accidental discharge. I carry on person anyway. The bag is good for the range
Question for you mall ninjas and Tactical Teds: How do you carry your Glock 19 (or other pistol if you're a pleb)?
hard2hurt
Waistband so i can shoot my junk off obviously !
Fred Naught obvs!
Appendix, in a Raven Concealment Vanguard 2

Really appreciate the badassery (yeah that's a word I'm sure) with simultaneously showing love for your children

TheMMAnification its just a cheap one that came in some cheapo generic bag from cheaperthandirt.com like 10 years ago.
Best gear review ever! 😂

I've been carrying the Glock 32 recently; and I've been pretty happy with it.
I love mine. I really like the .357 sig round. Flat trajectory and powerful but not ridiculously so.
Just ordered one .... Great Review !!!!

I was hoping to have you review the 5.11 super ninja mag-dump fudd butt plug.
I always carry my sig down the front of my pants, one in the chamber and safety off. I find this much faster and more practical.
hard2hurt see that's what I figured. I knew it was also logical.
Subbed, you're my kinda people.
I’ve been getting in the car with my bike messenger bag like that the whole time I’ve ever carried, honorable mentions but aren’t as practical: hiking chest rigs and fanny packs
you should try a similar sized backpack, the vanquest katara16
I choose glock 22 but the 19 works also brother or the 17 or
...any glock
Glock 19 > *
hard2hurt
The glock 19 is next on my list to buy and a Kel Tec sub 2000 to utilize the glock mags also
Fred Naught I really want a sub 2000 as well... specifically to put in this bag!
hard2hurt
Nice and portable ! Those 33 rd mags work nice in them too !
Great video. I dont have carseats anymore (thank god) this bag is awesome I wish is had 2 straps but the sling has its versatility. I had a 5.11 rush 12 but a too bulky
And firm.
I would love a 2 strap sitka
You're a good dad.
Will it fit a 15 inch Macbook?
You should do a vid wih Paul Harrell.
Yeah pretty valuable for me coz in my country there are law that we can only off body carry
Ok. A video About bag, gun, kids and nunchuks. Who needs LSD anymore?
I don't carry a pistol at all. Because here in Australia it's illegal to own one, unless....
Dude...why didn’t you tell me about the carrier tip before my kids outgrew that kind of thing? Seriously, you need to make more of an effort to seek people out and show them that trick!;)
I can understand not talking about 5.11 underwear but what about 5.11 diapers for your kids to go with your tactical diaper bag?
5.11 pacifier with bayonet.
Gotta be careful... if ur putting ur weapin in that pouch w no holster, make sure u don't have a round in the chamber... u don't want an accidental discharge. I carry on person anyway. The bag is good for the range
5.11 make smaller bags for "off body" carry. Not much for off body carry though.
Yeah I dont love off body carry but it bears no carry I guess.
More Practical Dad Tips!!! #superdads #dadshit
This is all I know I'm out of ammo!
Hilarious!
I like your fuckin style good sir
I like how you swear but you're very proper.
