Hi, my fan recently fell over unattended. The blade jammed and it sat for an unknown period. There is now no response from the switch and no noise from motor. Can you tell me more about this sensor you speak of in your video?

Hello my friend, when a fan fell down that can Cause the motor dislocated or moved little, or burned motor or wires cut or, sometimes can be bad bearings. must be disassembled and take a look inside, the heat safety censor most new fans or any electric motor have it it's very small and usually located it inside the motor beside the copper wires.
When the fan get over heated this censor can either burned or turned off automatically. After the fan is cold the censor works again but if the fan doesn't work or has no sound or noise that means either censor burned or bad wiring.
Thank you and all the best.

@@WorldRandomVideos thank you very much! I will take it apart soon and see if I can find this sensor. Can the sensor be replaced?

@firsttimejongbuild, yes, but you need to buy same censor it's not easy to find the same censor so you have 2 options 1- delete the censor and wire directly remove the consor and connect the wires directly.
This method it works 100% but it's not safe in case of the fan gets overheat it will burn the motor because no censor. And this is what I do and I never had any problems so far.
2- replace the censor you need to search it online to find the same censor has part number I think. It's not easy to find the censor but give it try, you need to use solder gun to remove the bad one and soldering new one. Good luck 👍

@WorldRandomVideos hello again my friend I have taken apart my motor and think I have found the sensor. Is it a small black thing and connected to 2 wires?

@firsttimejongbuild hello my friend, before you remove the sensor test it to make sure is working otlr mot Try to use flat screw driver plug the fan into the power ( be very careful electrical shock) touch the 2 wires connented to the sensor if the sensor works the motor will be powered on by using another screw driver touch the inside metal of the motor will be magnetic field on, remove the screw driver from the 2 sensor wires the magnetic field will be off, that means the sensor is burned. Make sure to a good condition sensor wires together with screw driver. If the sensor burned remove it and connent 2 wires together good connection.
But if the sensor is good and the fan still not working follow slthise steps
      1- check power cable
      2- check speed buttons
      3- check all wires
4- if all ok and still not working that means the copper wires or the coil is burned or has cut off, that you need multimeter to check it
Thank and good luck 👍 💓

Mine has a automatic reset safety device in the motor and I have no idea how to reset it. Any help with this?

If the motor is overloaded or if it overheats, this button will pop "out" indicating that an internal electric safety device has tripped, shutting the motor off.
Once the motor has cooled sufficiently it can be re-started, usually by pushing the popped-out reset switch back down.If the motor turns off again on re-set you should not keep running it as it may be damaged and the system may be unsafe, thank you and all the best

I looked every where real good and there isn’t one anywhere on it. Thinking it must be internal
