  • Nick Ferreira is a recovering alcoholic that’s been sober since 3/18/12. He got sober at the age of 25 years old and has been sober since. He realized at the age of 24 that he could not stop drinking if he even tried for several days straight. He saw a lot of traumatic events with his family struggling with alcoholism too. That’s when he realized his life was unmanageable. He wanted to achieve a better life with a future, and he knew he had to get sober in order to achieve that. He didn’t go to rehab or treatment. He went to his first AA meeting with his mother. His mom had six months of sobriety at the time and he had a week sober. He finally achieved that and went to his first AA meeting and he saw the first three steps out of the 12 steps and he surrendered and said my name is Nick I’m an alcoholic and I need help. Since then his life has changed forever and he now has over 12 years of sobriety!
On his time, he loves to lift weights, go to the beach during the sunny hot days and tanning . For work he is a sober bartender that sometimes ends up 12 stepping his customers when they find out he doesn’t drink without promoting AA. He says that that’s the best part of the job is when he starts seeing the light in somebody else and realize that there is hope, just like how another man 12 stepped Nick on 3/8/12.
