2 Corinthians 9:8 God is able to make all grace abound towards you that you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work.
Grace is not earned, it is received by faith.

I think I had the gift of experiencing a revelation tonight. I realized that I no longer need to feel guilt about my past sins. That God doesn’t want me to be weighed down by my shame, subjecting myself to eternal self-flagellation. I had the image of Jesus on the cross flash my mind, and the realization that he went through that so we wouldn’t have to. To show me the level of love he has for me, more than anything that he would not want me to experience this self hatred/shame/that feels like a twisting vortex inside my body; forever losing myself in feelings that weigh me down so much I’m left ineffective. Unable to function in society. I had no idea, never dared to think, that there could be such a thing as the opposite of shame. What I felt tonight was that, glory. Gratitude for having a lifetime, perhaps more; to have the permission to make mistakes and yet still be infinitely loved. This was exactly the sermon I was looking for. Society / the government robs us off this glory and I can see why... and we permit it ourselves. Well didn’t come on here to preach... Tomorrow is a new day for me. One that I think will be much easier than many yesterday’s. I don’t know why I’m writing this. I’m a 32 year old woman living in a big city by herself abroad pushing my boundaries to discover who I really am. That’s most important to me. Everything else doesn’t matter if I don’t learn who I am, or God... not sure they’re entirely separate.

Thank you for sharing your testimony, Natalia! I was raised on shame in the Catholic Church (you didn't make a mistake, you are a mistake), so I can relate. The devil is great at reminding us of who we were, but we know who we are in Jesus Christ and can tell that voice to get out. The more we do it, the quieter the voice gets too. Satan doesn't expend energy in areas where he knows he finally has lost. Thank you, Jesus!!!
Hope all is going well with you one year later.

WOW! Freedom feels awesome, doesn't it?! Yes, the devil's job is to keep us bound in body, spirit, mind..but he starts with the mind. This is why God urges us to renew our minds....and you broke through!
Enjoy your freedom in Christ! Enjoy your freedom and greater things will unfold!
      Hallelujah! 🌺🌺🌺

    Where does the offering go?
To the church as thankfully to God
    What is the church?
    The gathering together of Christians
The offering must be shared among the church so that every need of the fellowship is met, not just to the pastor. Giving food, clothing etc as well as money is a good idea. The costs of building is met and the rest is shared according to the needs of the fellowship. This is the way it was in bible times and should be now.

Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.
Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.
Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness.
Jesus died our death that we might share His life.
Jesus was made a curse that we might receive the blessing.
Of whom? Abraham. How much did God bless Abraham? In all things, that’s right.

Hence, what they give is of greater value in God's eyes. The poor widow put more in the collection dish than all the others who had plenty to spare.
When you give out of abundance, your work is as straw that will be burned away at the last day. When you give out of lack, your work is as gold that will endure.
The best part? YOU get to choose which kind of work you want to do.
