Just to be sure, you're talking about how much players expect/ask/want right? Have played only 3 nba2k games but ive always noticed, only 2 or 3 years into mygm's or my league's a lot of good players end up being stuck in free agency because of all the money stuff/settings.

@@launchbase4944they at least added in eras last yr or w/e. Obv you could do that to an extent yourself, but all the little changes it auto made etc…it was a great add. I don’t expect something that big every year at all. But how about just fixing some bugs at the bare minimum? Is the QO glitch still there? Wouldn’t be surprised.
Sim speed needs to go up. Add the ability to protect picks for at least like 3 years or something. Allow you to have access to picks further out, fix the salary cap and how much ppl are asking for so not everyone is on a max or some crazy deal when you’re far in to it. Better trade system, the star system is ATROCIOUS. Just fix the bare bones stuff man that’s alllll we ask. Fix that, and then try to add something cool once every few years. How hard is that?

I know I'm stating the obvious but that's the market on sports games that don't have proper competition. It's paying for a roster update, and maybe getting a handful of features that aren't in the My Team/Ultimate Team equivalent. They know they make their money elsewhere, so that's where they put their primary focus.

2 thoughts I have....
1. Nice to know 2k hasn't fixed the contracts issue, they force us to fix it for them.
2.2k needs to make it to where progression is based on how you played. If a guy balls out, he shouldn't be a 80 overall. No 80 overall should be averaging 23 PPG
I know bruh.. the last few years it’s the same repetitive thing with everything they do. In 2k23 you knew Jalen Green would get to a 94 every sim, you know the Hawks would win every year and Trae would win MVP, a rookie could go out and average 30 and still not be an all star cause he’s only an 82, Jalen Brunson and Lauri Markennan and Bradley Beal would get traded every simulation for pennies. I bet it’s the same this year

I swear to god no one at 2k plays MyNBA. So many things that makes no sense but have been in the game for 4-5 years but have never been addressed(everyone wanting $30m, absurd trade offers, bug when you resign your RFA, etc.).

challenge idea, go to the wheel of teams, and whatever team you land on, you have to recreate it. For example, you land on the suns, you go to 2k, do a fantasy draft, and with the assets, you need to get all the current suns players (bradley beal, devin booker, KD, ayton, etc) but once you get everyone, if you don’t feel confident that you can win a championship, you make trades to make them better

Yo Kenny I’ll post my own when I get the game (prolly won’t be for a bit) but you should download some contract sliders or at least find some to input in (they take like literally 30 seconds once you figure out which each one does) to fix the contract expectations it really does make it way better

I played 2k from (I only became a basketball fan in 2020 cuz I’m from the UK) 2k20 - 2k23. I really disliked 2k23 tho. I played it for about a month or two and then stopped. I was mostly a my team player n I thought the mode was very stale, slow and boring last year, it felt like a chore to play. I may buy 2k again the future but watching this video rn kinda makes me miss the game a little. I loved 2k20 and 2k22

I'm sick of them releasing a game that is STILL full of bugs, so the people who BOUGHT the product can do their beta testing for them. And then they often never fix the reported issues. This is the only NBA game we have and the amount of simple, silly bugs this game has had year after year should be a huge embarrassment for its creators. The NBA should demand a better product. It is far from polished.
Shame on them. And shame on us for continually rewarding them year after year by purchasing the only NBA game.

have you ever tried messing with the lineup settings that allows you to move your players time around on the court? for example if you want a guy to play twenty minutes, you can set his 5 mins a quarter to be at the very end of that quarter.
i dont normally use it myself since its a hassle but it in theory should work lol
