Approximately seven million people around the world die from heart attacks every year. And cardiovascular disease, which causes heart attacks and other problems like strokes, is the world’s leading killer. So what causes a heart attack? Krishna Sudhir examines the leading causes and treatments of this deadly disease.

it's so crazy how doctors can take another artery, and replace it in the HEART, keeping a patient alive. IT'S- wow. mad respect to doctors out there.
Yepp, look up Dr Shetty, he conducted over 5000 surgeries for no cost.
Ok
Its kinda like with animals like cats and dogs they are less likely to have heart attacks because they have like x2 as many blood vessels to the heart than we do so whenever they get a blockage like this in their heart for whatever reason their body can automatically act to cure itself right away
I’m grateful for it because it saved one of my grandparents life a phew years ago

My dad survived a heart attack in his 40s after that he started doing yoga and diet.

My dad had a heart attack back in 2020. One of the reasons was the stress, because a few weeks earlier we had a strong earthquake, and corona situation. He said that the lighting darkened, and that he felt his chest swelling, and couldn't move. I was having an online class, and had my camera and microphone off because I was crying. He recovered really fast, and was back in 3 weeks. I now truly appreciate the time we all spend together. He quit smoking a few years earlier, and doesn't eat breakfast, but overly eats lunch. I hope anybody who is going through the same situation I went trough knows that they aren't alone, and that they should stay strong. Love to everybody
And yes, heart disease runs trough our family, and I from time to time feel my chest swelling up, and i take very short breaths because when taking long breaths, the pain increases. I usually just hold on to the left side of my chest until the pain goes away
Wow… I feel you, this is really sad.. I hope you father will have a long and healthy life now onwards, I do also feel the same problem as you do, but I don’t know what to do about it… the doctors says it maybe is stress-related or something or anxiety… how old are you? Are u under 30?
He should have a healthy breakfast then a normal lunch the only reason he over eats lunch because his body is in starvation mode

Roger Christensen Well, when we click on this video we are actually paying attention unlike a teacher just throwing a video up, we distance the decision to watch and therefore won’t give as much attention to it.
Yeah too bad
Thank you for the video. My uncle had a heart attack 2 days ago and the entire family was there. Fortunately he woke up today. God bless anybody reading this comment.
Back on December 30th 2021, my father had a massive heart attack in his sleep that was caused by pneumonia and covid. And despite the best efforts of the paramedics, he wasn't able to pull through.
That morning, my mother said she woke up around 5:00 that morning to him making some sort of humming noise which went on for several seconds. It ended with an aggressive snore/cough and she poked him to see if he was alright, but he wasn't responding. At that point, panic started settling in and she was able to get him on the floor to call 911 and perform CPR. One of my younger sisters who slept next door woke up to her talking on the phone went in and immediately got 2 of my sister up and woke up me and my other 2 brothers. One of my other brothers went up and took over for my mother.
What I remember was waking up to my sister yelling at me to wake up and telling me what was happening. The lights were on in my room and it was still dark our. It didn't really sink in what was happening until I got upstairs and looked down the hallway to my left. And what I saw in that bedroom made me feel sick. I just saw him laying on the floor motionless and unconscious. As my mother was saying "1, 2, 3, 4" I could hear it in her voice that she was doing everything she could do to stay calm and not loose it. I wanted to go back and see if I could do anything to help but I decided against that because when you're trying to save a life you need all your focus, you can not afford even the slightest of distractions. So I decided against that.
Anyway the only thing I could think to do was to watch out for the paramedics or any emergency vehicle. My 5 younger siblings were all sitting on the couches in the living room stunned and I was nervously pacing back and forth waiting for the emergency vehicles. So when they came they took over, but unfortunately, to no avail. For me, it didn't sink in untile the peiple from the funeral home had to come and take away his body. Even 6 months later, the grief and trauma is still there. And I've used this as motivation to get in better shape.
Rest In Peace, Dad.
May your father Rest in peace brother!🕊️❤️👍

Skin brushing is excellent for circulation especially for anemic people and lipoma lumps. But brush before eating n drinking never after. Same with taking showers , lying down and swimming --- never do these straight after eating your food as it go there risk of seizure, heart attack, stroke. Have a shower BEFORE. Standing or walking while eating/ drinking is Soooo bad for knees and thats why people who eat while sitting on carpet/ floor live longer healthier lives. Everyone on my street and billions of People I know don't eat while sitting on a chair, the ones that did for years have joint pain. Most people eat on the carpet or put both leg resting on bench they are in their 90s. I'm spreading the truth and Love, after all starting is carring. PEACE OUT

That's why its important if you're having severe chest pains with shortness of breath to call an ambulance. It can be the difference between life and death. The paramedics will start treatments like aspirin, nitroglycerin (if appropriate) and send an EKG to the Emergency Department ahead of your arrival so the ER can be prepared for you and even activate the cardiology team if needed. Not only that, but the ambulance will hopefully take you to a facility that can actually do the procedure you need to save your life
