This is hands down the best coverage of the gie/equip expo I have ever seen. Most guys will cover one or 2 manufacturers but you covered a wide range of manufacturers and equipment. Awesome job capturing the expo, great content 👏 👍
The battery driven tools are a spectacular innovation. People tend to take it all for granted but the fact is these things have changed life. No gas, no oil, no gas and oil mixes, no gas cans and oil cans to store, clean up, or spill. When the tool stops pop in a charged battery and go. These are truly great. It will be sweet when EVs reach the level these battery driven tools have risen to. Nice video.
Virtually no oil. You still have to change the transmission oil and grease fittings but that’s not as tedious as having to worry about gas quality, filters, spark, etc

Extra battery for the Gravely was $2000.00 each. To get me through the day, I would need 8 extra batteries per mower. I use four mowers daily. 8×$2,000.00 is $16,000.00. $16000.00×4 is $64,000.00. $64,000.00 in extra batteries on top of the initial cost. They have lostt their mind. I can buy gas for many years for $64,000.00. I can see me telling a customer now. It will be $500.00 to mow your tiny yard. But hey I use battery powered machines. I woukd be out of business immediately.

I recently received an email from My electric provider that they will be going up 64% on electric service this winter. Now think of a gas less world and battery everything. Yikes! Cha-Ching not to mention all of the taxes generated from the sales of the electric equipment etc. 👎It’s a money grab.
Ain't no way I will spend $8,000 for batteries my fuel cost for the whole year don't come out to be $8,000 and then you have to charge the machine up that's more cost that battery technology it's not for me I'm going to stay gas with my business 😔
@@marcusd6096 I have a Meangreen machine 54” zero turn , $8.20 to charge, I would say lasts 4 hrs in high mode . Probably still cheaper in electric compared to gas ⛽️ we are nearly $12 per gallon here in the uk. But I don’t see why we have to pay big bucks for battery! I see it as paying $8k for an engine (battery) ! And it has a shelf life !

Therefore the manufacturers knowing this and the gas crisis is here, why not get the money up front before people catch on to better battery technology. Either way, I agree with you 100%. I call it capitalizing on people fears and economic weakness's .

Lithium ion phosphate is the way to go. 3500 cycles and then 80%charge. No one ever mentions how many more charges you can do at the 80% mark 🤷♂️
