I just started listening to their self titled album last month and it’s amazing. Not quite as good as the next album but it has some great music. My favorite off that album is “Edge of the Earth.”

What happened to the guitarist tomo if that’s his name again?
he is still making music
I remember Tomo announcing that he was leaving and not to be angry at him. He was a chef and wanted to start a business or restaurant. I didn't keep up after that.
I heard that Tomo left for family reasons but didn't elaborate on it.
Tomo is still making random music with some bangs or as violinist with an orchestra
He was cordial but it’s clear he was leaving as he had little to no creative input anymore

When they started there were 4 - Jared, Shannon, Tomo and Matt - then Matt left and I think it was 2018 when Tomo left and now there's 2 - Been a fan since the start!
The OG line up didn’t have Tomo, it was Solon, this was back in 2001. Technically, they have gone back to how they started - with just the two brothers
@@rachelroberts5775 for a very brief period they worked with Kevin Drake and Solon Bixler and chose Tomo over them, Solon was only in the Capricorn video the next single release they already had Tomo in the band so I really don't count Solon.
@@TiffYG2133 he was part of the band for two years, so if you can yourself a fan, you would count him. He’s credited on their early albums so I think it’s disrespectful to write him off. Kevin Drake only played with them as a touring musician.
@@rachelroberts5775 he barely even toured with them, and was only in one video and only played with them on the first album, so quit trying to act all superior.

Solon was only with the band for like a year and was only credited on 4 songs on their first album (I just checked) and I heard he didn't leave on good terms so yah, he's not worth counting! I was of the "Don't listen to the song when it's done" but when somebody else put their hands on it, you gotta! It's not just listening-it's WRITING. Seeing what someone else did with it. Kind of like seeing how your best friend changed your lady. Of course, the first time is painful, certainly. But then you've open stint, and it's your's just as a comfortable pillow
Well…he says the bank will never break up because it’s him and Shannon, but he neglected to mention that Tomo has left. I love the new song and will always love and follow 30STM but I think this new song is missing some of what Tomo brought to the table with his style 🤷🏻♀️
