@@santiagomunoz9298 the only reason I lower the dead zones was to make the triggers as sensitive as possible. Hi buddy, nice vid 👍 I have a question for you or chat, I play a game we’re I’d like the right stick movement to be up and down only, so no left or right move, is there anyway of disabling the X axis on the right stick in settings? Cheers 🍺🍺
That's an interesting question. I can see how it could be useful for some games. I checked in the settings of the controller's app and I do not see how that would be possible. However, I think it could be possible with a physical alteration. If you could find someone that knew how to design and 3D Print something that could replace the friction ring on the controller and block left & right movement, that could work. Doing that kind of work is a skill I do not have. But I have hired people on Etsy to create STL files so I could get my ideas 3D printed by someone else (also on Etsy). That's the only solution I can think of, and it won't be quick or cheap, but it would be a cool mod... Plus, after it is created, you own the rights to the STL file, so you could sell the file to others or have them 3D printed and sell the actual product. There may be other ways to do it, but, that's the only way I can think of.

@@iamm_justinr18 I know it sounds weird, but try a different USB cable. The factory cables aren't very good and cause many different issues. If that doesn't do it, it could be something physically wrong with it. The faceplate comes off easy. You can take it off and then see if your stick is on there in an odd way, or pull it off and put it back on to see if that might fix it.... If none of that works, and you are still in the warranty/return period, you probably want to exchange it.

@@beansuace Try pressing the M button and the Y button at the same time (M+Y). Your back buttons won't work but your triggers should. This is just setting the profile to the factory default. If your triggers work, then the problem is with your profile and you should try fixing the profile in the app. If the triggers don't work and the manual calibration doesn't work, and you are still within the return or warranty period, I'd recommend you take advantage of that. I would recommend updating. They have made some improvements that are great. But full disclosure of perks and occasional issues before upgrading.....you may have to calibrate after an update, manually or through the app. There have been occasional issues after updating, but this can be fixed by downgrading the firmware by getting the file and instructions from GameSir's Discord (but it may take awhile to get them to respond). Updating the firmware allows you to increase the report rate, but supposedly Xbox believes increasing the report rate creates an unfair advantage, so you can only increase the report rate through the GameSir Nexus app on PC (they took the option away on the Xbox app).
Did you uninstall the app and do this? I installed the app and gamed for a bit and noticed a helluva lot of stick drift. I did the manual calibration and still drifts but not as bad. Just wondering is all. Thanks
I didn't have a problem with the app being installed, but I experienced issues with stick sensitivity and a trigger being activated all the time after updating the controller. Such a good controller for the price. I cant play without the elites since the beginning... This is smaller and less durable but more responsive. WAY BETTER THAN THE FLYDIGI apex4. That thing broke within minutes multiple times. Im here bc im having issues with the input reads but its well worth dealing with especially if I can reset it and make it work right. Cant use 1000hz bc the input sticks until you input another input sometimes so I hope this helps. I wish the Elites had this hardware but better quality of it.

The faceplate comes off easy. You can take it off and then see if your stick is on there in an odd way, or pull it off and put it back on to see if that might fix it....
If none of that works, and you are still in the warranty/return period, you probably want to exchange it.

my left trigger and back paddle is broken how do i fix it???
@@beansuace Try pressing the M button and the Y button at the same time (M+Y). Your back buttons won't work but your triggers should. This is just setting the profile to the factory default. If your triggers work, then the problem is with your profile and you should try fixing the profile in the app.
If the triggers don't work and the manual calibration doesn't work, and you are still within the return or warranty period, I'd recommend you take advantage of that.
If none of this applies, one last thing you could try (or you could try it first if you want) is using a different USB cable, because the factory cables are not built very well.

Please help me, I just got this and accidentally binded A to “LSB” thinking it was the back paddle, but it’s not and now I don’t have an A button, which makes it hard to get into the app and change it. What can I do? Anyone help me
To go get off the custom profile with problems and go back to the default profile, press M + Y on your controller.... BUT you will still have the problem with that profile. If you are on Xbox, download and open the GameSir Nexus app. Choose the profile with the issue. This will cause your problem to return so you will need a second Xbox controller that is turned on. Use the second controller to make the changes in the GameSir profile. I hope this helps.

Nice guide perfect companion to start connecting the controller, should i upgrade the firmware to the last version? or keep it default
Thanks
Also, on gamepad tester the frequencies on the sticks are breaking out the max on on corners, even after the manual calibration.
I didn't have a problem with the app being installed, but I experienced issues with stick sensitivity and a trigger being activated all the time after updating the controller.
I downgraded my firmware (I got the file & instructions from discord) That fixed my stick sensitivity, but the manual calibration fixed my trigger issue.
