To All the haters - I did not purchase a single lootbox with real money, all the lootboxes were purchased with in-game money since I had tonnes of them from quests, sieges, and selling equipment. I would never purchase lootboxes with real money since it ruins the fun, you tell the company you're "ok" with paying for lootboxes, which im not. and it's totally not required as you can get everything you require just by playing the game. I have almost 100% completion, all main quests completed, maxed Talion with level 60 and all skills + artifacts / collectibles. The only thing I have left are 1 or 2 Nemesis quests and 4 Sieges which I will record and upload :) All of you that say i purchased lootboxes probably dont even have the game since you know so little about it.
i tip my hat to you sir, it just proves that one can enjoy the game without having to spend a single penny on it, true games, an fun games at that are ment to be challenging to actually push people to try better at playing it

So if they don't do anything with it, then at least other companies can start making their own nemesis systems in 2035 since Monolith filed their patent for it back in 2015.
The presentation of this game is absolutely amazing. The filling you get when playing makes you feel like a badass, something most games have a hard time achieving.
To add to this, you can also easily level any orc by 10 whole levels by sending them a death threat (which raises their level by 5) and then by dominating them with an ultimate wealth rune (which adds another 5 levels). You can then assist them on a few missions or send them to fight in the pits and you can easily get them to level 60.
Yup almost nearly every orc I meet is level 60 or legendaries now because of my max level also vendetta mission offer lots of legendary orcs you can kill for gear.
Yep, plus online vendetta seems to have a lot of them. The problem is there are people who just sit there and listen to toxic RUclipsrs who said you need Legendary Orcs to get the true ending.
Samuel Callender I wish talion and celebrimbor would have had a better relationship. Its not even that celebrimbor was too focused on Sauron. During the game Talion would hardly listen to him at all. I could have skipped a fight had he. It just infuriated me more when I heard those comments they made together during the game that actually showed them with a good relationship.

I think Celebrimbor's character was shat on in this game. He is a spirit of vengeance. Sauron killed his people, his family and him. Of course he's going to be ruthless. And a confrontation between Talion and Celebrimbor was always going to happen, as he became more and more detached. But it never did. We never got the ring off celebrimbor, we just got a dumbass ending that wanted to tie into the books. I hated it. I wanted both characters to have endings.
Whitelight Never did I speak of the ruthless part, he became what he hated most. What his wife and certainly, his daughter, would abhor most. Vengeful. It wasn't right what happened to him, but because if his intentions, he was left only one route. Eternal suffering.
Shelob calls out Celembrimbor's bullshit from way early on by infering him as "You and Sauron are one". Fuck the elven wraith. The only reason Talion fell to darkness was because he saw the ringmaker for who and what he really was: Another Sauron.
When Celembrimbor thinks you're worthless without him...uh uh think again. PS Talion pretty much makes Mordor his own bitch without Celebrimbor's help.

I think celebrimbor underestimated talion, he was not just a vessel, as shelob said, talion with celebrimbor would defeat sauron, because talion's will is incredible, he could hold dark ring for 60 years without being corrupted, bright lord's power is depends on "vessel"'s willpower
It's actually not that hard unless youre facing really good captains. Even then it's pretty straight forward. After awhile you'll be trying to Speedrun gold on top tier forts.
The only thing I have a problem is how much the game feels downgraded once Talion became corrupted, this forces alot of cool dialogue away when it came to dominating captains and grunts and even fortress assaults,if they had another set for Nazgul talion to speak if be okay with it
Foxtail Gaming Meanwhile I completely agree with you, it feels extremely void when you're dominating captains, etc. And Talion just stares them down like a maniac. But I get what they were going for. It's the intention. Talion himself has become voided, and his only purpose is to extend the wars until the fellowship comes around. It kinda makes sense, "How much are you willing to give up?"

I only like the (charge!) line as corrupted But the rest of the lines are way better such as (for the bright lord you will fight - join the army of the bright lord - and the lines you get while purifying the haedir towers)
That’s because he took one of the Nazgûl‘ rings and got corrupted but not too corrupted as he is able to control himself from evil and still kick ass also he is much more of a badass than his bright lord form
I am so glad I picked this game up. Never got around to playing Mordor, so I was not missing War. Have yet to do a siege, preparing for Nurnen, just have to raise the level of my captains and then it's go time. This is the second video of yours I've watched and they are so damn good. I would love a LOTR game with epic, large scale, sweeping battles, but this is pretty damn good for now. Keep the kids coming, good stuff. Subscribed.
Something I've found out that not many do, which could help some of the tougher sieges: If you mount a drake and use fireball on a siege beast, fireball, not flame breath, it automatically frees all the armor and breaks the beast. It then charges on a rampage like a war graug. Shadow mount, hop off, get back on drake and do it again. I can easily take over all four siege beasts in a fortress and have them rampage while I fall back and take points. The one thing I hate though... when my favorite captains have climbed a wall and killing archers on them, then my ologs and olog captains destroy the wall, instantly killing said captains on the wall. Auto bleed out and everything. I've lost the only two necromancers I've seen like that. Like.... wtf... And why aren't there more necromancers?! I've completed the whole game and I found those two necros in Nurnen... madness!
Elder Pickle It was a dick move for him to leave us to die in trade of some bimbo looking to get more powerful. I liked him though he was pretty insightful in the first game but him and talion was homies.
+Gravewalker I dont actually believe you can. He's trapped battling Sauron eternally until some shit happens to the One Ring. So the chances of Talion becoming a Nazgûl entirely are higher then him being reunited with Celebrimbor.
+Dex4Sure I don't know... I love the Ringwraith armor. Then again, I like necromancy in any form lol. I built up a pretty garbage captain to legendary and max level just because he had the necromancer trait (which is too bloody rare). And I mean GARBAGE. He was an assassin that used a crossbow... Crossbows should be avoided unless they're a marksman with quick shot. Even then, spears are probably still better. He died in stage 10 siege... bummer. Anyway, the Ringwraith set looks pretty badass and tugs a bit at sentimentality after you fully upgrade and read the descriptions. Not to mention... I'll just say it. Elven Rage sucks in comparison to unlimited stealth in the first game. Yeah, you still sorta get unlimited executions, but it was better to just attack, and even that wasn't as reliable. Then it REALLY pales in comparison to what Celebrimbor did in The Bright Lord DLC. Getting the ability to summon wraiths to fight alongside you, harder attacks (would've been cooler if he did the dash instead of hopping around though), have a constantly charging might bar to make use of other abilities, and THEN raise the dead afterwards? Pffft... turns that ability into what it should be: a gamechanger. Then, while the set bonus of the Ringwraith set might be lackluster, the individual effects are amazing. Since you haven't played beyond that point, the 2pc set turns call followers and iron guard into undead. The 4pc bonus restores 20 health whenever an undead follower dies. I end up with perfect life gems in all three weapons, so I heal just fine already lol. The sword gives a 25% chance to automatically raise killed enemies as undead if they die by it. The dagger does the same but 50% for stealth kills. The Hammer (no bow) gives elf shot for dazing a captain and undead caught in the explosion are healed. The ring increases the Raise Dead (separate ability you get that does exactly what it says) radius to an obscene range AND increases undead follower dmg by 65%, put the gem on and that's a 95% increase right there. The cloak makes enemies flee in terror when you raise dead, giving you a breather if you getting too swarmed by say, fighting a legendary commander and another one ambushes you lol. Then undead allies take 65% less damage (that, plus healing them really makes the 4pc seem out of place). The body armor I switch out as needed to exploit weaknesses because it doesn't really matter. It just gives 75% reduced dmg from undead. That would've been awesome at an earlier point in the game, but since I never come across necromancers and undead can't betray, useless. The chance to curse is great though. Anyway, wear that set, with perfect life on weapons and perfect warrior on armor and ring? Looking at constant healing, even in the case of your army getting wiped and you need to get some distance to recover from curse or poison, 30% increase in damage across the board for Talion, then 95% increase for like 15 on screen undead minions, on average, which you can then enrage. I've had a nemesis going back and forth (I keep bouncing between shaming and letting him get levels back to try and break iron will WITHOUT deranging him). He got up to lv 65 because he ambushed and killed me while I was ambushing a nemesis mission. He's hard to fight with all his immunities, having a shield, and enrages to everything. I just raised an army and enraged them. They swarmed and got him to broken after one enrage. I honestly felt like the tribe sets even beat out the Bright Lord set.
Moggs comment about the Overlord before the siege was absolutely killer: "I'd say this fool has an unhealthy relationship with beasts!" Mad disrespect.
Wow impressive dude, the game just came out and your at this level already - again impressive! The only thing that bothers me is that your Talion looks like he's been doing drugs, that's a skin I hope? ...and not him being poisoned somewhere in the story line...
The combat has been so greatly improved. I am amazed. I should buy it soon. Currently I have over 70hrs of gameplay on shadow of mordor, and I love it. I mastered the combat there, but this game is deeper with it. I wo der how much fun I'll have.
That was damn impressive mate, I`ve not played the game but as a battle scene it looked exactly how`d you would expect a siege to look. The warg skill you took for the final boss paid off as well. Nice video quality as well, 9/10. Commentary would have got you a 10/10.
When I first saw this video I thought it was higher tier than i believed. But the Captains he faced were weak (no Olaf’s) and the War Chief didn’t even have body guards. But still a good video

i dont think the orc level can go pass your level. I put this enchantment on my ring that give all my captain a 3 level raise and non of them go pass my level. im level 30 and if i brand a captain that is level 29 or 30. It's level will just be cap at 30 because my level is only 30. I think thats how it work because non of my captain have level higher then me.
Tewthpaste no because he was killing lvl 59 orcs while he was fighting at the start which he easily could have branded like he did later on And yeah orcs cap off at your level sadly
Sans the Skeleton 2 reasons I would say. 1. You can't dominate an orc higher than you and 2. At least for me, if they look stupid I won't take them unless I plan to throw them into the pit
The Game is Cool .. but i think the Fortress assaults are just scam . At first you see some 100 orcs at the start of the siege and then only around some 15 orcs with Captains will join you during the actual assault

yeah i went through all of the fight arenas with one champion who was a deranged orc that i had shamed twice for i dominated him. the real problem is farming silver chests in order to get reassignment orders.

It sucks how most of the orcs in Talion’s army disappear after the cutscene. Sure, they spawn in later, but I wanted to see my huge army charge into the fortress.

I just did my first seige but a glitch h in the Ai caused one of my really good orc captains to stay at the walls doing nothing to just gets shot over and over again until when I was at the other end of the castle he bled out

Sir Memesalot No, you are. He's absolutely right. Even buying the game supportd Lootboxes in Singleplayer games, even if they aren't a problem right now. They are testing the waters just like they did with DLCs. We were told we would never get a Day 1 DLC. Now almost every game has one. We will reach the point were buying Lootboxes is the only way to enjoy a game because people didn't care right now.

Like he wont speak at all , i think they should really start to patching and make some big dlc so i can play more as " Upcoming wraith" To be honest they should start the first part of this saga, as the upcoming wraith , then just makeing some story about Celembrimbor

+George Yolo I can see how you'd get confused, but he does talk. It's just that there pretty much isn't any story left after he becomes a Nazgul. Like there was a lot going on up until that point. The second he becomes the Lord of Minas Morgul though, the story is pretty much over. We know how it's gonna end. It's just surprising how long he held out, but fitting since he was able to give up a One Ring easily for the sake of a "friend" early on. If you lose fortresses, do vendetta missions, basically any kind of mission where a goal has to be stated, he talks.
They could make DLC within you can choose the fate of Talion, like, you can fight against Celebrimdor and proclaim Mordor as your domain. You could reject the offer to join the Nine. A romance with Shelob (Yes, I know, I have problems, but wouldn't be that bad, thou). Or, even, you can anticipate Celebrimdor betrayal (By seeing those past memories of him, or in that poetry you have to find in the maps) and, so, be able to do something about it
Yeah it's too jarring like how he just goes "GRRR" at dominated Orcs-- that's annoying... THEN the icing on the cake is how the Orcs still call you "Bright Lord" and have the same responses. That part of the game sours the rest of the experience.

It's actually not that hard unless youre facing really good captains. Even then it's pretty straight forward. After awhile you'll be trying to Speedrun gold on top tier forts.
And here I thought my level 15 was something special... wow this is intense!
The only thing I have a problem is how much the game feels downgraded once Talion became corrupted, this forces alot of cool dialogue away when it came to dominating captains and grunts and even fortress assaults,if they had another set for Nazgul talion to speak if be okay with it
Foxtail Gaming Meanwhile I completely agree with you, it feels extremely void when you're dominating captains, etc. And Talion just stares them down like a maniac. But I get what they were going for. It's the intention. Talion himself has become voided, and his only purpose is to extend the wars until the fellowship comes around. It kinda makes sense, "How much are you willing to give up?"

But the rest of the lines are way better such as (for the bright lord you will fight - join the army of the bright lord - and the lines you get while purifying the haedir towers)

I am so glad I picked this game up. Never got around to playing Mordor, so I was not missing War.
Have yet to do a siege, preparing for Nurnen, just have to raise the level of my captains and then it's go time.
This is the second video of yours I've watched and they are so damn good. I would love a LOTR game with epic, large scale, sweeping battles, but this is pretty damn good for now.

Something I've found out that not many do, which could help some of the tougher sieges: If you mount a drake and use fireball on a siege beast, fireball, not flame breath, it automatically frees all the armor and breaks the beast. It then charges on a rampage like a war graug. Shadow mount, hop off, get back on drake and do it again. I can easily take over all four siege beasts in a fortress and have them rampage while I fall back and take points. The one thing I hate though... when my favorite captains have climbed a wall and killing archers on them, then my ologs and olog captains destroy the wall, instantly killing said captains on the wall. Auto bleed out and everything.
I've lost the only two necromancers I've seen like that. Like.... wtf... And why aren't there more necromancers?! I've completed the whole game and I found those two necros in Nurnen... madness!
Necromancers gotta be the rarest upgrade in the whole game. Never even been able to get one since they all end up running away or dying

So the chances of Talion becoming a Nazgûl entirely are higher then him being reunited with Celebrimbor.
+Dex4Sure I don't know... I love the Ringwraith armor. Then again, I like necromancy in any form lol. I built up a pretty garbage captain to legendary and max level just because he had the necromancer trait (which is too bloody rare). And I mean GARBAGE. He was an assassin that used a crossbow... Crossbows should be avoided unless they're a marksman with quick shot. Even then, spears are probably still better. He died in stage 10 siege... bummer.
Anyway, the Ringwraith set looks pretty badass and tugs a bit at sentimentality after you fully upgrade and read the descriptions. Not to mention... I'll just say it. Elven Rage sucks in comparison to unlimited stealth in the first game. Yeah, you still sorta get unlimited executions, but it was better to just attack, and even that wasn't as reliable. Then it REALLY pales in comparison to what Celebrimbor did in The Bright Lord DLC. Getting the ability to summon wraiths to fight alongside you, harder attacks (would've been cooler if he did the dash instead of hopping around though), have a constantly charging might bar to make use of other abilities, and THEN raise the dead afterwards? Pffft... turns that ability into what it should be: a gamechanger. Then, while the set bonus of the Ringwraith set might be lackluster, the individual effects are amazing.
Since you haven't played beyond that point, the 2pc set turns call followers and iron guard into undead. The 4pc bonus restores 20 health whenever an undead follower dies. I end up with perfect life gems in all three weapons, so I heal just fine already lol. The sword gives a 25% chance to automatically raise killed enemies as undead if they die by it. The dagger does the same but 50% for stealth kills. The Hammer (no bow) gives elf shot for dazing a captain and undead caught in the explosion are healed. The ring increases the Raise Dead (separate ability you get that does exactly what it says) radius to an obscene range AND increases undead follower dmg by 65%, put the gem on and that's a 95% increase right there. The cloak makes enemies flee in terror when you raise dead, giving you a breather if you getting too swarmed by say, fighting a legendary commander and another one ambushes you lol. Then undead allies take 65% less damage (that, plus healing them really makes the 4pc seem out of place). The body armor I switch out as needed to exploit weaknesses because it doesn't really matter. It just gives 75% reduced dmg from undead. That would've been awesome at an earlier point in the game, but since I never come across necromancers and undead can't betray, useless. The chance to curse is great though.
Anyway, wear that set, with perfect life on weapons and perfect warrior on armor and ring? Looking at constant healing, even in the case of your army getting wiped and you need to get some distance to recover from curse or poison, 30% increase in damage across the board for Talion, then 95% increase for like 15 on screen undead minions, on average, which you can then enrage. I've had a nemesis going back and forth (I keep bouncing between shaming and letting him get levels back to try and break iron will WITHOUT deranging him). He got up to lv 65 because he ambushed and killed me while I was ambushing a nemesis mission. He's hard to fight with all his immunities, having a shield, and enrages to everything. I just raised an army and enraged them. They swarmed and got him to broken after one enrage. I honestly felt like the tribe sets even beat out the Bright Lord set.

I love this game, but one gripe I have is that Talion doesn’t talk during domination anymore. Doesn’t really make sense and could be a simple fix.
When Talion walks up to the fortress at the start of the siege, the chanting sounds like, "Shoop da whoop."

Wow impressive dude, the game just came out and your at this level already - again impressive! The only thing that bothers me is that your Talion looks like he's been doing drugs, that's a skin I hope? ...and not him being poisoned somewhere in the story line...
The combat has been so greatly improved. I am amazed. I should buy it soon. Currently I have over 70hrs of gameplay on shadow of mordor, and I love it. I mastered the combat there, but this game is deeper with it. I wo der how much fun I'll have.
That was damn impressive mate, I`ve not played the game but as a battle scene it looked exactly how`d you would expect a siege to look. The warg skill you took for the final boss paid off as well. Nice video quality as well, 9/10. Commentary would have got you a 10/10.

Why do people kill the warlords or bosses? I always dominate them so then you have really high level captains on your side
i dont think the orc level can go pass your level. I put this enchantment on my ring that give all my captain a 3 level raise and non of them go pass my level. im level 30 and if i brand a captain that is level 29 or 30. It's level will just be cap at 30 because my level is only 30. I think thats how it work because non of my captain have level higher then me.

And yeah orcs cap off at your level sadly
Sans the Skeleton 2 reasons I would say. 1. You can't dominate an orc higher than you and 2. At least for me, if they look stupid I won't take them unless I plan to throw them into the pit

The Game is Cool .. but i think the Fortress assaults are just scam . At first you see some 100 orcs at the start of the siege and then only around some 15 orcs with Captains will join you during the actual assault

yeah i went through all of the fight arenas with one champion who was a deranged orc that i had shamed twice for i dominated him. the real problem is farming silver chests in order to get reassignment orders.

It sucks how most of the orcs in Talion’s army disappear after the cutscene. Sure, they spawn in later, but I wanted to see my huge army charge into the fortress.

They are testing the waters just like they did with DLCs. We were told we would never get a Day 1 DLC. Now almost every game has one. We will reach the point were buying Lootboxes is the only way to enjoy a game because people didn't care right now.

So the fortress siege in the game is not as dynamic as seen in the E3 demo, where our commander allies can suddenly appear and help us out during our fight with the Overlord.
They can but its rare.

Like he wont speak at all , i think they should really start to patching and make some big dlc so i can play more as " Upcoming wraith" To be honest they should start the first part of this saga, as the upcoming wraith , then just makeing some story about Celembrimbor

+George Yolo I can see how you'd get confused, but he does talk. It's just that there pretty much isn't any story left after he becomes a Nazgul. Like there was a lot going on up until that point. The second he becomes the Lord of Minas Morgul though, the story is pretty much over. We know how it's gonna end. It's just surprising how long he held out, but fitting since he was able to give up a One Ring easily for the sake of a "friend" early on. If you lose fortresses, do vendetta missions, basically any kind of mission where a goal has to be stated, he talks.
They could make DLC within you can choose the fate of Talion, like, you can fight against Celebrimdor and proclaim Mordor as your domain. You could reject the offer to join the Nine. A romance with Shelob (Yes, I know, I have problems, but wouldn't be that bad, thou). Or, even, you can anticipate Celebrimdor betrayal (By seeing those past memories of him, or in that poetry you have to find in the maps) and, so, be able to do something about it
Yeah it's too jarring like how he just goes "GRRR" at dominated Orcs-- that's annoying... THEN the icing on the cake is how the Orcs still call you "Bright Lord" and have the same responses. That part of the game sours the rest of the experience.
