@@maticgaming8627 why not keep the introduction and then end the album with an 11th song rapping over the best beat on the album? Wouldn't that be better?
@@chainsawteddybear No leave him alone yu probably made names for intro's and yu call em songs stop thinking yur so hard now shut yourself up and come at me.
Otokai Uchiha Make a mixtape and post that shit. Lots of rappers make mix tapes of beats that don't have legal rights to. You can't legally record and sell a studio album without the rights to the music, but you are allowed to make your own mixtapes of anyone's beats. This is an amazing beat btw, and Illmatic is untouchable, so don't mess it up with shite lyrics. Hope I helped.
Kasangi i its from a movie so the sample is public donain by now. if ur spooked on legal shit u can throw it on fl studio add a little percusion or loop it how u plz, but if u like me and thinking of just throwing together a throwie remix kinda song, shit just s/o nas lol
One of the greatest intros ever into a hip hop classic
deadass
“Mr.Scarface is back” is the only album that can be compared to Illmatic!!!!!
It is the best I've heard by far actually. Next was Biggie Ready to Die with all the old school hip hop joints on it
Word....
Agree with you son!!!
Don't understand why Nas never spat on the best beat on the illmatic??? I guess we shouldn't question the man who created the best hip hop album
It's an introduction
You don't necessarily have to rap over it

No ny state of mind has the best beat
@Jan link
@@thsu8woah I wouldn’t call it the best beat, but it is amazing and would’ve been cool to see him rap on it
One of the best hip-hop beats.
that beat was from the greatest hip hop film EVER "Wild Style" (1982).
THATS WHERES ITS FROM!!! My mind is fuckin' fried son!
Nas exactly knew what the new Era would like. It's almost predicting the future but after all those years we still bump to him music 🎶
one of my all time fav introduction samples classic! this and crime time off the mop to the death album timeless
what song is that? Link? Tried looking but can't find
which song mop or nas sample?
Wilson Fisk mop
search for mop to the death album or crime time 1-718
The best into ever. Only way to kick off the greatest album ever. 🐐🐐🐐

Ye
Shit is played these days smh
Shitty looping but the beat still goes hard af!
Exactly
Perfection.
Thanks for this man
Cold 🥶
illmatic and getting up, damn man
thanks !
a few guys freestyled over this back in the NYC mixtape days in th late 90's. I would've loved to hear a 21 year Nas destroy this
Chill, chill, that’s the shit
perfect
Thankkkkkk you sooooo much
Since Nas ain't rap on it/
I'm a go right ahead and snap on it/
Start a riot then scrap on it/
Take a dice roll and shoot craps on it!
the loop on this is a pure train wreck lol
🔥🔥🔥
Sometimes I wonder if Nas knew what he was sampling. You can take hiphop from the radios but not the streets.
This is from wildstyle, what is the name of it?
hardest beat ever 2020
The washingtons go to wifey you know how we do
This would be so much cooler if you added a nas verse onto here if you could.
"Ayo, thats the shit god"....
Is this beat itself copyrighted? Because I have some sick ideas for my own intro

+Andrew Malinowski Don't think so. Mash-ups get taken even from soundcloud nowadays. At the least you must buy the song from iTunes or something.
+Otokai Uchiha Probably is because Nas sampled this beat from the movie WildStyle.
