Amazing video, I think I have seen all Mini Trackers videos, and this is the one ik witch you can feel how the machinw works better, at least to me. Thanks! I am doubting about the Mini, because I don't know if trackers are going to feat my workflow... But after this video it seems easy and fun, I think I'll give it a try. Thanks!
You're very welcome and thanks for watching. It can take a little bit to wrap your head around the workflow but I think they're great little idea starters.
You can def make full tracks on it, I use it as a sketch starter and if i'm traveling I'll make more fleshed out ideas but at the end of the day I like to dump all those ideas into my computer to really get them going
@@craigwilliamsmusic that makes sense... In the end producing/editing on a computer take things to another level. I think I will use it the same way. Seriously this video is my favourite of all Mini Trackers, and to me is the only one in which you get a sense of how it operates. All the best for you, and thanks for your replies! 🙂
The KO 133 and the Tracker have very very different workflows. If you can wrap your head around the tracker workflow I think it offers a load more since it has built in synths along with the sampling options.
You cheater you! Sneaking in those kicks ;) Jokes aside, great to see this being demoed as it’s such a key feature of that little box. Great fun to watch, thanks!
Ooo cool vid. Looking at these at the minute. Found a good deal but wondering if its worth getting. Got the m8 too but that's so deep and seems more programming than music. 👍
I love both of them but the M8 took me a while to wrap my head around and I still feel that I'm only using a fraction of what it can do. Since the Tracker Mini is pretty much all sample based I find that I'm not diving into menus to get things sounding solid.
@@craigwilliamsmusic yep that's the great thing about the m8 is the synths. I still don't understand them though. I know the discord is great but there is so many functions on it that aren't detailed anywhere. I think to fully appreciate the m8 you've got to love programming trackers or be ex LSDJ lol. My prob is I have bad gas. I've got all the top synths and groove boxes but never really learn them. Bought a hydrasynth a month ago and still not worked it all out. And now I want a tracker mini 🤦♂️ I'm sure I'll find my work flow one day lol. Love the content keep it up 👍
Thanks matey. Yeah it can be hard to not get caught up in all the new gear. I try and make a little 2 track EP with each new piece of gear to see if it will make it into the fold. After using it on a few songs I can get the workflow down and see if it's adding to the gear that I have.
Cheers for the vid ! Love my Mini still learning

Oh I see... Do you think it would be possible to actually produce a full track on it?, even a full album on tracker? Or I am going to far with that?

This or the pe 133 ko? Or a simply arturia drumbrute?

Bikes and synths - my 2 favourite hobbies. Just got a Tracker Mini so feel this vid was made for me. What bikes do you have?
Oh nice!! Being in LA I have a road and gravel bike. Plenty of riding options for both.
I'm mtb and gravel in Melbourne
Awesome, my skill level doesn't allow me to ride MTB hahahahaha
