These cars were originally built in the former Yugoslavia, by the factory Đuro Đaković in Slavonski Brod (today Croatia). They operated from 1968 to 1976 on the Yugoslav 760 mm ( 2 ft 5 15⁄16 in) narrow-gauge railway system (Bosnian gauge). When this system closed down, the cars were re-gauged to 1000 mm and sold to Portugal. This is a 3 ft gauge in Peru.
