Cars of the time were sparkling beautiful
And here we are in 2023 and not ONE British car left !
This is SO Gorgeous, i Love this, and that well-known narrator's voice ! Its So sad the way everything has gone so dreadfully downhill.
4:37 - those were the days... Sheik gets into car at motor show with cigarette in his hand😂😂😂
Süper nostalgie
6:00 the large industrial hinge on the Rolls Royce seats was discarded for a more subtle movement.
Can anyone explain why it was crystal clear (in 1966) that we had to export … but in 2022 the word is rarely heard ?
Because we don't have any industry to export. Sadly.
Ironic. The year that Toyota and other Japanese cars started to sweep British cars off the road overseas. By 1970 it was all over in Canada.
Fast forward 2023, all we do now is produce foreign cars, how did it ever slip away from Britain when British cars were exported all around the world.
Countries like, Spain, Italy, Germany, France & Sweden all still have a car manufacturing base, what does the U.K. have ... you know the answer, sad, sad, sad.
Jaguar after-sales service? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !
Ford leads the way
1966, wow imagine if you owned these cars in the same condition now..
They dont make cars like this anymore..
British Pathe is just great...so nostalgic..🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
Except Porsche, they don't make cars like before
And today…they are all gone as well as the manufacturers.
Amazing stuff! I for one can only see a bright future for the British car industry!
Did these Narrators have to perfect that affliction or is there a district of England where it came naturally ? Customers of Bournemouth Cinemas could still appreciate perhaps that actual guys’ narration with an outdated advert that seemed to run up until 1980 when he’d implore us to “ come visit the Yeovil Sheepskin Shop - it’s well worth the visit “ ..( about a 40 mile drive ) 😃
How about a reunion show??? Get the ol' gang back together again & see who's still got oil in their crankcase & motoring down tha road!! 🥳
5:45 something leaking under the Rolls?
Beautiful cars! What a glorious time.
I miss British cars... even though I'm Japanese! Lol!
haha
Счастливое времена.
5:00 - That's an impressive moustache LOL
Golden Times !!!
Such phenomenal history and workmanship.
Brexit! Lol 😂
Proppa tobys!
The British & Australian car industry.. good for the time but the competition from Asia proved too great in the end..RIP
Check the carpet of the RR how badly it was installed by the door
Thats not the carpet, but Lambs wool over rugs that sat on top of the carpet
The trade unions fked Britain. And our motor industry.
