Great Video @codedamn, If possible can you give a more descriptive explanation for beginners. I'm in middle, I understood something and something not....
I WATCHED THE VIDEO UNTIL THE END YOU ARE A GOD!!! What are the cost differences between CSR SSR SSG!? Is client side rendering cheaper for your AWS to run? What if you use your own PostgreSQL database is it still cheaper? And by how much!? Please make a video comparisons, because I think ALL MVPs should go for cheapest hosting and if they take off you can employ someone to fix it, right?
Whats the following case: I have page that is 50% viewable without js, but some parts need js (for example fetch data and put it into a table) to be constructed? Is it a mix of ssr and csr?
Very good video thank you. I have a question, even in the server side rendering when we say that we send a full populated html page, does that mean that the html could also include links which will still need to be downloaded by the browser?
Atleast I found a man who is somehow like minded as me.....I almost went to comma after believing that none of my batch mates are intrested in web dev......all have been doing cp cp.....I though myself that I am on a wrong track....Literraly....jisko cp intrest bhi nahi hai and wants to do dev get's forced due to this placement and stuff..... Guys let me tell I am not against CP or DSA .... they are super usefull and required.....Just some random thought....... Jsiko jis main interest hai usme jao.....Don't just follow what others are doing....
The problem I'm facing with client side data fetching is that even using the environmental variables, my api key is exposed. It only hides in code, not in the http request... Trying to figure out how to solve this lol
That's going to be the case with CSR or data fetching, a public api key is always going to be embedded in your client bundle. APIs like Stripe get around this by only fetching public data via that key, you then have the server side api send validations with a private key. Another example is AWS. You access S3 in you server side API effectively hiding your key, client side can only do public stuff related to that users permissions in a JWT, like drag a file to upload. Your API with the secret key validates that file and sends a presigned url back that user can only use to upload that one file, nothing else.
Can we take a second to appreciate this guy's knowledge on web development? I'm here wishing I already know this 😂😂
