Andrei! I love your fearlessness in letting your feelings show!! You don't have to say what you feel, we can all see it ❤️. Dominika! You've got a keeper!😄👍
I think sometimes the harder the exterior seems the more tender the heart underneath. The love I hear coming from the audience makes this song even more beautiful ❤
Thought I'd copy my comment from another reaction video awhile back to add context to this song: This one has a dual meaning for Corey now. Originally the song was written about a relationship. Corey didn't really write things for Slipknot, but when Paul Gray the bassist heard it, he basically championed for it to be finished and released as a Slipknot track. Paul passed away in 2010 from an overdose of mixing meds. So for Corey it's not just about lost love, but also the loss of one of a close friend.
For Andrei: “Vermilion Pt. 1” and “Vermilion Pt. 2”; For Dominika: “Spit It Out” and “The Nameless”. All official versions from their channel 13 years ago.
Oh you guys, Ren brought me here , you guys made me sub. Corey has made me wanna stay, you guys are my kind of people. You want some really to the heart performances to rest to. I can deliver 4 of the very best if all time. 1) Black by Pearl Jam, the mtv unplugged version. 2) Nutshell by Alice in Chains, the mtv unplugged version, 3) Bosco by Placebo, the mtv unplugged version, 4) A million little pieces by Placebo, mtv unplugged version.
Thank you for reacting to this song. My all time favourite. 💔 I've got Angels lie to keep control tattooed on me. Perfect line. Pain and beauty, that's Corey. I feel you, Andrei. Love you two! 👌🏻
When i hear beautiful songs like this, I always think of this Kierkegaard quote: “What is a poet? An unhappy man who hides deep anguish in his heart, but whose lips are so formed that when the sigh and cry pass through them, it sounds like lovely music.... And people flock around the poet and say: 'Sing again soon' - that is, 'May new sufferings torment your soul but your lips be fashioned as before, for the cry would only frighten us, but the music, that is blissful.”
Corey wrote this song about a women who was in his life during a time when he was having a really tough time. The thing that makes it even tougher for him to perform is that the band didnt think a "ballad" belonged on a Slipknot album. His good friend and bands bass player Paul thought otherwise and helped Corey finish it and get it in the album. Paul passed away shortly after and this was the last sing they worked on together. That is where all the emotion comes from in the performance.
Loved the reaction. For harder I would recommend Duality, Before I Forget. For more teddy bear, Bother from the same show. That whole London acoustic show is amazing
Great job with your reaction to Snuff the live acoustic version from Corey Taylor. It's still mind blowing know he is still the lead singer of Slipknot and can still hear this Angelic.
Lo que te hace sentir la voz de Corey es impresionante y ese quiebre en su voz, realmente lo sintió y nos lo transmitió, Hermosa canción y triste a la vez!! 💔
There is a studio version of this song by Slipknot that is an absolute masterpiece. That said, this version is much, much better. This version speaks to the soul.
I've heard this song a dozen times or more and the way it touched your heart is quite obvious I feel the same way brother Corey has been through some stuff that's where the best songs come from .
this is my mum's favorite Slipknot song the original is amazing but this version is special, I cry everytime, thank you for your reaction guys :) Pozdrowienia :)
Really Nice Reaction You Two! Not only can Corey do performances like this, he is also one of the best songwriters in Rock/Metal. You wanted a Slipknot song: Live The Devil In I
Wow, what a great reaction video. You guys are so genuine and amazing. Loved it! For the crazy songs from Slipknot I sugest disasterpiece live on london 2002, amazing song and amazing energy and performance.
Great reaction! Please check out Slipknot "Spit it out" live @ download festival and then Corey Taylor performing Spit it out live and acoustic in London 2018(?). It's the last song of the full show. The intro (which you shouldn't miss) starts at 1:49:18. The contrast is amazing and shows two very different sides of Corey. I also recommend "Bother" from the same acoustic show in London and The Heretic Anthem by Slipknot. Subbed! Greetings from Germany
I'd love to suggest a trio of masterpieces. I say a trio, because they are 3 songs that go together. They are "Elizabeth I, II, and III" by Kamelot. They are about Elizabeth Bathory, and the evils she commited. DEFINITELY go for the official live, because you need to see the pure brilliance of the performance Roy Khan gives through the performance of the 3 songs. It's all in one video. You can't go wrong with this one, I promise you'll love it. The sheer musicality of the piece is amazing. I've been enjoying your experiences as you expose yourselves to these new songs. One of my big joys in life has always been exposing people to music they wouldn't normally listen to. Tainting them, you might say.
At first, let me tell you guys how much I‘m loving your channel and your reactions. I‘m not commenting a lot, but I‘m watching almost every single one of your reactions. I‘m glad you want to dig a little deeper into the Corey Taylor / Slipknot stuff, so here are two suggestions from me for you: The more heavy one is a live version of the song ‘The Blister Exists’ by Slipknot: ruclips.net/video/vUSoQ5dp_D0/видео.html And the more calm one is a more recent live medley from Corey’s solo project: ruclips.net/video/z6Dcvo6OCT4/видео.html I really hope you’re going to enjoy these. Have an amazing day! 😃😃😃

My man's eyes got really red and I'm happy I Kno there are people who relate to the feeling.
