Flood Brothers’ First Day in McHenry: Orange Mack Curotto Can Garbage Trucks!

- I ventured out here to see what Flood would run on their first Friday in McHenry. LRS/PLD lost it which is a huge surprise. Didn’t film anything too special but the first day videos are always so cool! Unfortunately, the rental driver said no filming which sucked but I got some far away shots. 132, one of the long body Contenders I’ve filmed before and KJ, the driver of the other long Contender, 133, I’ve filmed before too so it was cool to see him again. Especially since he’s a legend in the industry haha. The cab cover on 132 was replaced with a black one so I think that’s cool. Flood decided to keep the old carts since they were rolled out in 2017 and they would’ve gotten oTTos anyway. As you can see they are starting to sticker the carts Flood too. They also decided to make yard waste free so it was pretty heavy and they kept the option of having manual or carted trash. You can see that in my Meridian clips. The revving was cool to see along with the collection of PLD carts and lid flips. With not too much else to say, I hope you all enjoy the video! And as always please comment, like, and subscribe! I'll say this again it's rare to see a Mack LE on a modern/older Atlantic Body, I imagine what it would sound like if it sounded like the LEU

Same duo in my neighborhood, except the premier truck sales truck (which is my recycling) got swapped out with a flood brothers truck, and garbage was originally flood brothers since they started in May. And they've been doing a fantastic job, and both drivers even let me operate the trucks, like dumping the bins, which is super nice!

Yeah, and as I’m typing this I’m waiting for my recycling truck to come LOL, and my garbage driver taught me how to lift the dumpster off the ground into the truck, and it’s quite hard, and that truck is a McNeilus Contenders, and the recycling is a Heil half pack I’m pretty sure but idk the model but I know it’s Heil, but he may have gotten a new truck since it’s been a while since I saw him because of school staring right as he came (around 8)

@@staintedcards I live 5 minutes from Gages Lake! McHenry is about 15-20 minutes northwest of Mundelein. So you got it! Arlington would’ve been a great stadium…stupid Chicago mayor lightfoot lol. Thanks for the comment!
