The WHOLE Woman In Red soundtrack is marvelous. This song opens the album, its just so soothing and romantic, god I love that album. I wish they would of released an expanded remaster of it. Wonderful time in popular music then.
I had my first crush on this girl named Janet in the third grade and everytime i was around her this song came on in my head. So i associate this song with Janet from the third grade and her long black hair, that she always wore in a ponytail; and her niblett dimples that seemed to hold the key to happiness every time she smiled. One of Stevie's best!! What a jam..only Stevie could do something like this that transcends genres of music..this song is just as hot now as when it was released in 1984. His songs give you such a good feeling no matter how your day is going.. He's awesome.

His primary synths at the time of this recording was the Kurzweil 250 , & the Yamaha DX-7 , & the Synclavier . I also believe he had those Roland electronic drum pads . He also used processor keyboards & Moog synths , I cannot tell you what programming he used .
My Dad had this song with scenes of the movie itself but my inconsiderate brother taped over it.Can you track that down and upload it here?It's from the same year of course??thanks in advance!!
Why do people refer to Stevie as being disabled? Though he may be unsighted physically Steveland like Ray Charles was is a very able bodied person and is perhaps more spiritually in tuned to what this life is about than most SO CALLED normal people!.
