Always first drink tea and then taste biscuits. Otherwise you will find the tea tasteless like it has less sugar because those biscuits overpower the sugar taste. Especially when you have hyderabadi irani chai.
It’s because of the combination of salt and butter. And depends where you buy that from. Maybe some bakery or the outlet might have added a bit of extra salt while baking, otherwise those biscuits are not salty at all.
