One of the greatest pieces of music ever created. Along with one of the greatest dance sequences. I've watched the full Riverdance show, nothing else on it comes close the genius of that one original section.
Remembering when I was 9 learning how to play this on violin, about 30 of us in total, all various musicians River dancing in front of us, about 15? I do reminisce the atmosphere, so wild and explosive, friendly and powerful. Such a great way to meet people with energy.
In my hungering search for you, Taste my breath on the wind, See the sky as it mirrors my colors, Hints and whispers begin. I am living to nourish you, cherish you, I am pulsing the blood in your veins, Feel the magic and power of surrender, To life. Every finger is touching and searching, Until your secrets come out, In the dance, as it endlessly circles, I linger close to your mouth. I am living to nourish you, cherish you, I am pulsing the blood in your veins, Feel the magic and power of surrender, To life.
what a spectacular piece of traditional Irish Heritage yeeeeeeha so glad to be irish when we showcase it like this makes ya wanna jump and say great to be alive !
I would like Bill Whelan to get to know I made a video-tribute for some current heroes around the world with his piece "Some mother´s son" that is written in my description. :) ruclips.net/video/KREJOWGWYN8/видео.html
If you like that sort of music, check out the works of The Fiechters (brothers Brandon & Derek) and Adrian von Ziegler. Amazing music, lot of it rooted in Celtic fantasy stuff.
@@irishtnt2988 some of you say, "You're an invader, leave!" and some of you say "You're Irish!" at least I can make my mind up... I can call myself Northern Irish, if you don't like it then clear off.

“To life” is sung kind of in counterpoint to that though if you listen.
You missed out the first words - “Hear my cry...in my hungering search for you.”
