“My name is Jeff.” How does that that still hold up?🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also the scenes when Ice Cube finds out and gets pissed that Schmidt and his daughter are dating still kill me. That terrifying look that Ice Cube gives could scare the shit out of even Death.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love all the meta jokes and easter eggs. "Meet Cute" is a filmmaking term for when two characters meet by chance in an accidental, sweet, awkward, or initially antagonistic way. It's intended to quickly set them up to become best friends or romantic interests. Also, the theme music of famous British comedian Benny Hill can be heard during the campus car chase scene when they pass by a building called Benjamin J. Hill.
The funniest action comedy sequel! There was going to a crossover film with Men In Black called MIB23, but this was cancelled as audiences didn't want to see an R Rated version of their favorite movie franchise.
Yaa man Jump Street and MIB crossover was literally what I was waiting for all those years and once it was confirmed that it ain't materializing I was so pissed man because the idea is so dope.
Seeing Bill Hader there at the end made me remember Barry, a really good show with him in the leading role and he is also a producer I believe. It's a dark comedy about an assassin. I definitely recommend it, not many reactions to it.
So this came out in 2014, the year I graduated high school. I watched it at the cinema with friends. I've never had a better theatre experience because everyone was just cracking up laughing. In the "Schmidt f*cked the Captain's daughter" scene the entire audience was dying from laughter for 5 minutes straight. So hilarious.
So Jonah said in a short interview that the 3rd film would possibly be about the high school couch played by Rob Riggle breaking out of prison an the film being a parodie of The Fugitive Harrison Ford Movie, this was years ago but he he seemed excited about this plot.
Fun fact. When I graduated high school in 2014 we played turn down for what as our closing song while we exited lol. It was pretty cringe but super funny considering we lived in a very small country town.
Not gonna lie I loved when I was in high school and got to go visit my older sister at college. Also, lived there after high school. Yes, almost every year there would be someone who drank or died from an alcohol related incident. One guy after the Cubs won the World Series climbed up a street lamp fell off cracked his open and died.
I've seen this film in full and in parts a few times now and i only just realised that Mohawk bro is "Dick Dawg" from Thadland, how tf i miss that idk.
I know precisely how I would do a 3rd (and final) Jump Street movie. Here's my pitch: Title: The Final Jump Street (No, Really!) "18 years since first joining the Jump Street Division and 24 missions later, Schmidt and Jenko finish their 25th mission and return to headquarters to find out that the Jump Street initiative is being shut down for a newer version of Jump Street with younger detectives, due to the everyone on the force becoming too old for undercover missions. Jenko sees this as an opportunity to move on when he receives a job offer with a private security company that pays more than what he makes, while Schmidt feels insecure about losing his job and debates what his future should be, wondering if he should join the new force in hopes of becoming the captain. Meanwhile, a new form of drug is hitting the streets of Los Angeles by drug dealer twins, Kayce and Jack, establishing themselves as new competition for the others. After killing members of a drug gang and taking over their territory, the case is given to Jump Street, which has been forced to move back to the church on 21 Jump Street, where it all began for them. Weeks away from being forced out, Schmidt and Jenko set out as undercover drug dealers in order to infiltrate the new gang, seeing this as their final mission. Knowing that they need to be the real deal, they steal drugs and sell them on the streets, catching the attention of Kayce and Jack, who kidnap them. Interrogated, the two decide to hire them in helping spread the influence of their new drug and become fast friends with them over time. Captain Dickson announces that he has been promoted to Commissioner, and Maya (Dickson's daughter) leaves the force to start her own art company. With everyone preparing to start new lives after Jump Street, Schmidt feels nostalgic for the old days and struggles to come to terms with the fact that he is now older. He later meets Molly Tracey (from the 1st film), who has married and is about to see her first child off to college and realizes that he never truly got to have a family, making him more confused about what it is that he wants. He later talks with Jenko, who expresses that he cannot wait to be done with Jump Street, explaining that while he loves and misses the old days, he knows that nothing will ever feel the same. He then tells Schmidt that he is taking the private security job and asks him to join too. The twins begin an operation to wipe out the rest of their competition, revealing that their father once secretly controlled the drug underworld before his death and wish to reclaim it in his honor by avenging him. Jack expresses that they now have more than enough to retire, but Kayce wants to continue. The competition reaches out for a meeting, being led by those who betrayed their father. The twins then call up Schmidt and Jenko for an emergency meeting. They meet with the twins and are told of what is going to happen. Afterwards, Schmidt and Jenko call upon Jump Street for help, including the new detectives. A meeting is set up with the last remaining competition, who plan on killing the twins and taking their product. However, the twins plan to send in Schmidt and Jenko as decoys. Realizing that it's a trap, the two reveal themselves as cops and Jump Street move in, resulting in a three-way gun fight. The twins move in on the competition leaders and kill a majority of them before only one is left. Before they can kill him, Schmidt and Jenko stop them and fight. The surviving competition leader takes the chance to shoot Kayce and Schmidt but is shot and killed by both Jack and Jenko. The two have an understanding and leave with their partner. Jenko takes Schmidt to the hospital. Back at their headquarters, Kayce tells Jack to make a break for the border and to take the money they had made to live a normal life, apologizing for being so obsessive with the past to put them in danger, before dying. Jack loads up as much of the money as he can and his brother's body before the cops arrive, driving to a secret passage through the border into Mexico and disappearing. A few weeks later, Schmidt recovers from his injury and is told that the drug bust operation was mostly a success, having enough to charge the surviving henchmen and put the operation out of business, while a manhunt has been ongoing for the twins. Jump Street is officially shut down and a new division opens, "The Next Jump Street". Maya talks with Schmidt and wishes to give their relationship another chance, asking him to join her art company. He agrees and the two get back together. Schmidt and Jenko talk with the new detectives, telling them that they should go their own way and do something different with the new division. They all agree and manage to change the name of the division to follow their own path. Schmidt and Jenko leave Jump Street behind, going their own separate ways. 10 years later, it's revealed that Schmidt and Maya had married with children, turning their art company into a thrilling business. Jenko continues to work as a private security, while visiting Schmidt on the weekends. Commissioner Dickson continues to run the LAPD. And Jack has built a house next to the ocean in Mexico, visiting his brother's grave. A reunion is held for members of the Jump Street division, including the last surviving members of the 80s division, where everyone catches up and reminiscences about the good old days together. While alone and sharing a beer, Schmidt and Jenko jokingly bring up the 'unofficial missions' that no one knows about and decide to start a novel series based on their adventures. During the end credits, the 'unofficial missions' are revealed as such: Being sent to a universe where they teamed up with the Men In Black organization for one mission (with cameos from Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones) but were allowed to keep their memories. A time-travel mission back to the late 80s where they teamed up with the original Jump Street crew. A mission in an alternate timeline where they teamed up with female versions of themselves. And a mission that involved going back to their roots in order to get the division back in business after becoming too 'insane'."
thank you for proving my point. 30 absolutely SUCKS. It’s awkwardly in the middle of everything. He was graduating to Soulja Boy, which was 6th grade for me, she was in high school for Turn Down For What, which I was in the Army in Korea during.
Adderall and Molly are both amphetamines... Seems redundant to mix them. Granted one is MDMA and the other mixed amphetamine salts so there may very well be a mixed effect for the high but as the only thing they keep referencing is "focus" it would make very little, if any, difference at those doses.

And that line actually come from
The movie borat originally 😂
Comedy is all about timing, and Ice Cube has impeccable timing!

Such an under-appreciated joke.

I wish I had 1/10th the happiness these two have, they seem truly, genuinely happy together, congrats to y’all..:)
22 Jump Street somehow managed to surpass the original in my mind. One of the Goats of comedy.
The funniest action comedy sequel!
There was going to a crossover film with Men In Black called MIB23, but this was cancelled as audiences didn't want to see an R Rated version of their favorite movie franchise.
I definitely wanted to see MIB23.
The "My name a Jeff" meme is still funny to me after all these years 🤣🤣
I guess you guys got your wish lol Channing plays gambit in the newest Deadpool
Your laughs make my day. Like you're high 24/7, in a good way.
High on life and comedy even better than drugs! Except Molly maybe that’s a pretty good high
The end credits, which shows mock sequels, were shot in a day during post- production and completed a month before its release.
It feels like forever since we had a hollywood movie of this calibre.
Did you guys notice blonde Football Player who also plays Marvels US Agent ? Kurt Russell’s son Wyatt Russell

I definintely want a 23 jump street, those guys are too damn good together.
12:04 I’m surprised they didn’t acknowledge the actor in this movie who played as the US Agent in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Wyatt Russell for the win.
It’s crazy how ice cube went from rapping F the police to playing a cop in movies
Oh man! Midnight City is my favorite song! I forgot it was in this movie.
41:50 her vibe is pretty hot, consensual speaking of course.
That fighting scene with Channing on the beach was somewhat like a scene from Step Up where he also starred in.
The very last scene with coach and what’s his face lol. “I’m late”. Her reaction to that has me dead af! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Beaches here in Fort Lauderdale get like that, as well as Miami during spring break.
Has she seen This Is The End?? If not she needs to watch/react to that. She will die when she sees Channing Tatum 😂💯👍
The "My name a Jeff" I wouldn't be surprised if Channings character read up on the profile he was to act of a Cholo called "Jefe"
